Our new favourite takeaway spot. The pending rendeng is amazing. The food is like grandma makes. So lucky we are local.

You know when you get lost in a road trip and thought man I wish I could find a nice place to eat ?
Well this little Indonesian gem is that place, well in my view it is ! :) authentic Indonesian restaurants are becoming popular in the Auckland region and if you know your Indonesian food then you will know that spice is what sets these restaurant apart!
I went for the satay and can I say these were amazing, as the satay were lamb you’d think that they would give that lamb smell but these tasted like they were cooked in a nice open flame (which you can taste) along with their peanut sauce ! Now usually they give you tiny little satay sticks but these guys were quiet generous:)
And if you look up on the wall you’d see them on the newspaper which shows you that they mean business when it comes to the authentic Indonesian taste!
Now the place is quiet small and wouldn’t be able to fit very many people, I guess that’s why I gave this place ⁴⁄₅ unless you’re fairies then you’d be prefect !
They do have different specials on every week so don’t be shy and ask what’s the special for the day is cause maybe you’ll be lucky to land on a day where they make yellow rice ! (I know it sounds strange, but trust me it’s HEAVENLY !!!)
