Japan mart contains all your Japanese food and drink needs. This Japan Mart on the side of Sylvia Park mall is quite a large one actually, stocking not only Japanese products but also some other Asian foodstuffs. If you are ever in the mood for cooking a Japanese dish, this is the place you need to come in order to get it right. Pretty much everything here is from overseas, which unfortunately means that not many of the items have their cooking instructions in English.
I always buy the Kewpie Japanese Mayonnaise from here, seriously that stuff is amazing. However, it is rather expensive. Here’s a gross fact: My brother actually eats it straight out of the tube; just the mayo, nothing else.
Oh also there’s a Japanese liquor store just next door, so that you can get some plum wine to go with your dinner. I think it’s actually owned by the same people.
