After trying pizzas from all over the world on my trips, this has to be my least favorite. I’m not saying it was terrible, but I thought the flavors could have been a lot better. The quality was so-so, which I was very surprised because there is such a big hype about them.

Hell is the kinda pizza you order when you want one up from Pizza Hut or two up from Dominoes My fave is the serpent — Smoked Salmon with Asparagus. I haven’t not been impressed with the other Pizzas on the menu in terms of taste & quality. Hell isn’t hella flash but the pizzas won’t disappoint & you’ll get a good satisfying feed out of it! Its in the upper echelon of takeaway pizzas for sure. Pizza4eva!

Wanted pizza during our Auckland visit and found Hell Pizza from Unilocal. The ratings were quite good so we decided to try it. The place was difficult to find since the storefront only said Hell and nothing else. We were expecting a sit-down restaurant with a hell theme. It turned out to be a take away place. The atmosphere was quite unique(hell theme) and creative. The menu looked good and we decided to do take away and eat in our hotel. We ordered a vegetarian and a chicken pizza. Both were good(3.5 star good, not 5 star super). We also ordered BBQ ribs; which were terrible. It was basically dried up, day-old ribs soaked in BBQ sauce. The sauce was fine but the meat was borderline spoiled and tasted spoiled. We ended up throwing it away. Very disappointed. If you go to Hell Pizza, stick with the pizza and nothing else. Definitely not the BBQ ribs. 3.5 stars for the pizza and 0 for the ribs.

Soooo good! The pizza here is positively delicious — I recommend Brimstone. Basically anything with chicken is really good and you can buy«misfortune» cookies, which are positively delightful. We went back a ton of times and were only in Auckland for a tiny while. Definitely go. The vibe is great.

While on vacation in NZ the unique style of Hell Pizza drew me in for a closer a look, the creative menu had my mouth watering. We ordered the Lust and some dessert pizzas. The pizzas were great and the dessert pizzas were a different way to eat something sweet. Next time we are in NZ we will be getting some HP.

I stopped coming here because I would walk in and they would ask if I wanted my usual. How embarrassing. I used work right next door so I would get dinner from here quite a lot. In fact it was my first experience of Hell’s Pizza, and I was forever converted. I would always order a mini sized satay pizza, I think it was called Mayhem, and I absolutely loved their squid rings, which back in those days only cost about four dollars and they were soooo good. The staff are always a group of unique young people, they play some good metal music in there too, and we always had a good rapport going on with them because they’d come into the video shop. Nice guys. Good pizza.

I am a fan of Hell pizza and reckoned if I ever left New Zealand it would be one of things I would miss. Been coming here years and the standard of the pizza you get is always very good. They do some good combinations like the vegetarian one with feta, sundried tomato, mushroom and spinach. You can get an indivdual one for about 8 bucks and a big ass one for $ 18. Their sides such as corn nuggets and the garlic bread are also very good. One thing I discovered recently which I must recommened is their lamb shanks. For $ 12 you a lamb shank, with peas mash and gravy. The gravy is rich and minty and is really good. It’s served in a tray with aluminium foil and was piping hot when I got it. Their website is really good too — very easy to use and there’s no ambiguity about toppings etc.
