Good coffee, great food and cool vibe. Will definitely recommend to friends. We had the ham and parsnip soup and the chick pea curry.

If I had kids, I think I would love Fusion. I mean, they have a sandpit with Tonka trucks and shizz, and a little backyard area. It’s a harrassed parent’s dream. I, however, am yet to join the domain of the parentals. Therefore my outlook on Fusion is a little different. Not having my own adorable little bubs to coo over, I’m a little less tolerant when other people’s little adorable bubs scream and shout and run between my feet. Also the food and coffee are good but I think are quite classic, while I like a bit of modern innovation in my brunch menu. I will definitely be back once I have kids though.

Not necessarily ‘hippy’ but not being as polished as the competition in the area sets Fusion apart, in a good way. It looks very small from the frontage, and if you like to people watch sitting by the service bar is a good choice, but you would be missing out on a fabulous little garden and deck out the back. It was enjoable this morning in the sun trap for coffee and(overdone) poached eggs atop of chiabatta toast. A little out of the ordinary in terms of setting but ordinary food for my liking. I can see the appeal of this cute café but I am not sure I am the target market.

Fusion is a cute little independent café on Jervois Road. The coffee is good and there is a nice courtyard to enjoy your flat white in the sunshine — supposing the sun is in fact shining. The eggs bene is particularly good and my usual order. Keep in mind that because of it’s location in an old shop the café is reasonably small. This fact might make it difficult for those that require good accessibility. Getting a pram or a wheelchair down the back of the café would be a struggle.
