If your in strife, who you gonna call! GHOSTBUSTERS! … Oh wait no, that not right. That’s the wrong review. Well the second best people to call would definately be the boys in blue down at the Downtown Police Station. Phew, that was close!
Especially at night, downtown Auckland can be full of rather unsavory characters so its good to know that there is a police station so close in case any problems should arise. Indeed the most problematic areas are the nightlife precincts, so they are in a good place to be able to serve people in this area.
They can help you out with any problems; from lost cellphones or belongings, to reporting stolen cars etc to bigger and more unsightly problems like alcohol fueled fights.
I’ve had dealings with them once before for a not nice situation and the guys down here were absolutely lovely and eager to help in any way they could
