No one can walk past the Blue Whale without being seduced by the aroma that drifts around this corner shop — it’s only just recognizable as the smell of fish and chips because it’s so light and savoury; miles away from the greasy smell you usually think of with chip shops. Having said that, you really pay for the quality here, but I reckon it’s worth it if you’re going to indulge. Inside, the shop is funky, modern, and clean, and you can check out the excellent menu of crepes, which are as expertly cooked as the seafood. Take your meal one minute along to the marina, and settle down on a bench seat to enjoy the view of the boats and the water. Perfect.
