Hoteles Emporio

Great breakfast buffet with chicken mole, cactus in a delicious cream sauce and the usual breakfast fare, fruits, yogurt, cereal, ham, bacon and eggs.

The staff was a bit rude there were only one or two who I’d say were genuinely pleasant. We had to call five times for someone to finally come unlock our mini fridge in our room. We stayed a week and the air conditioning in the room was not working the entire time. We asked for small facial towels but were told those were for «VIP» members only (we didn’t exactly get the cheapest rooms). We put a do not disturb sign on all three of our rooms as we left for the day and when we got back they had gone in all three rooms and made the beds. We used the garage for our whole stay but they never mentioned that we would be charged for it. Besides all of this you can’t really bet the view and it is just down the street from the cathedral and some really great shops. The food is delicious and the city is amazing.
