Sierra Madre Brewing Co.

Hoy toco la final de la concahampions se proyectó el partido y el servicio fue excelente. Lamentablemente el resultado no favoreció a los locales y el lugar estuvo a reventar. Me gusta venir al Sierra porque además de pasarlo bien con los eventos deportivos entre amigos, se convive en un ambiente de camaraderia, es ya una tradición venir a apoyar los equipos locales y esta ocasión no fué la excepción. Con la tarjeta Lujito se tiene un gran descuento en la cerveza artesanal que aquí se elabora además de una tanda de botanas a escoger, mi favorita son los aros de cebolla y las mini hamburguesas. En cuanto a la cerveza les recomiendo la cerveza ocho reales hoy fue la primera vez que la pedí ya que no me había dado la oportunidad de probar algo distinto a la Frayle o la Regio. Extrañamente hoy el servicio del mesero fue excelente y muy atento a nuestra mesa. Un 10 pero solo tres estrellas a la reseña puesto que siempre hay puntos que mejorar pero hoy no los mencionaré. Sierra Madre: tú, muy bien!

Buena comida, el servicio puede mejorar ya que no había tanta gente como para demorar en preguntarnos si ocupábamos pedir más cosas, aún sigo pensando que la hamburguesa podría a ver estado mejor pero creo que solo se queda en buena sin poderle ayudar mucho, la cerveza estuvo en su punto, lo recomiendo y la botana que te traen también ayuda abrir un poco el apetito y esa ansiedad de esperar por tus alimentos.

As a restaurant, Sierra Madre Brewing is decent. I would compare it to the Yard House and Buffalo Wild Wings as far as the ambiance and quality, with several tables and TVs to catch sporting events. As a brewery, Sierra Madre is horrendous. Not one of their home brews is salvageable. I was sadly disappointed with the beer here but what can you expect from the only micro brewery in the city? Monterrey isn’t exactly a brewery town. It was not a surprise to see guests ordering Dos Equis and other Mexican beers over the home brews. Come to Sierra Madre for the American-​style feel but not the beer.

Nice place (limited selection of beers but they’re good), you can have a good time and good food in this place. Just one comment, my last time here the waiter charged double tip, I let him know about this but he just smiled, sobe careful with your check.

My local friends took me here. The atmosphere was energetic and fun. Great place to meet a group of friends after work. The selection of beer they make is a little limited and I tended to like the porter while most of my fiends liked the light beer. The food was typical pub fare in quality. The selection seemed unusual to me: Mexican, Italian, Chinese, US. Something for everyone. The pizza tasted a bit like frozen pizza from the US, while the Buffalo chicken, tacos and nachos was pretty good. I wouldn’t go back for the food or micro brew, but would for the service and atmosphere.
