My San Felipe Vacation

We stayed at Los Sahuaros this past weekend. The two houses we rented were great. Very comfortable and right on the beach. A short walk to the best beach in San Felipe. This gated community is about 15 minutes south of town. The service before and after our stay was great. This place definitely met our expectations and we will stay there again next year.

This was our first time staying at El Dorado Ranch. It won’t be our last. We enjoyed everything about it. The pool, the bar, the staff and Erick. The condo was beautifully decorated, well stocked and having a TV with local news (Los Angeles) was an added plus. We can’t wait to go back in November.

I’ve never been so disappointed with a Villa down there until this time; the owner of 69 – 1 needs to make the place better than being at home; not feeling the same. No cable, basic cooking items; (no large pans, no wifi, and the worst was my King size brick top bed which had me waking up early every morning with a back ache. I’ll never stay in that house again unless it has a makeover… besides that, the time they’re meeting folks and partying was fantastic…

This is our fifth time visiting El Dorado Ranch with friends and family, and this is the fifth time that we leave with a smile. We stayed at condo 224 since it has a large bedroom in the first floor, and it’s just a couple of houses away from the pool.
For this visit we tried the large pool that is located in the mountain side across the highway, I think it’s called Cachanilla; let me tell you, it’s our new favorite spot! Overall the cleanliness, service, house and pool maintenance is and has been amazing. If you’re looking for a tranquil spot, with excellent facilities, you definitely need to check out El Dorado Ranch.
Can’t wait to visit again in the next few months!

We rented a condo next to the beach from my San Felipe vacation and was impressed by the location and how nice and clean the condo was. Lalo was very helpful and made us feel like family. It was like renting a house at Newport Beach!

The house and the community were top notch. The staff was courteous. I reserved and paid six months in advance because I wanted a beachfront view. Two weeks prior to my arrival I received a call that the beachfront view condo was not available. I had to settle for a non beach view that was very disappointing. Had I knows I probably would have stayed elsewhere.

It has been a great vacation, all the facilities are clean, safety at it’s max, security guards ²⁴⁄₇ condominiums are excellent

We have stayed at this resort twice now, one for an entire week, most recently for an overnight stay during the Blues Fiesta. The homes are large, lovely and comfortable. Erick’s staff is helpful and attentive. The facilities are really good, including the golf course.
El Dorado Ranch is a little far out of town for this to warrant five stars; plus, you most definitely need a car because of the size of the place. If you fly in as we do, it’s a $ 40 cab ride to and from the airport and you’ll need a way to get groceries and other provisions.
All in all, it’s a great place to spend a few days!

We stayed at an amazing condo one row from the beach in El Dorado Ranch. The condo was clean and seemed brand new. The location was perfect. When the tide was out, we walked out to the beach and picked up sand dollars and clams. We even cooked the clams! It was just so much fun. We will definitely be returning here soon!

This is our second time staying at an El Dorado property but first time staying in a condo. The location is great, 5 minute drive into and you’re back in the middle of all the town action. Our room was extremely clean, smelled and looked new, shower water temps were perfect, our A/​C worked good and wasnt noisy and the kitchen was fully stocked. My truck fit in the garage and was safe from the construction traffic during the day. The beach was clean and there was a bathroom and shower right there for us to use if needed. No complaints, but would suggest softer bed mattresses as ours were very firm, uncomfortably firm.

My wife and I really enjoyed the accommodations, my kids loved the comfort, and being a pet friendly place really helped keep the family happy together, we are looking forward to next year vacation.

We rented Condo 744 at El Dorado Ranch for the long Thanksgiving weekend. Renting with My San Felipe Vacation was super easy. The information they emailed prior to our stay was perfect. When we arrived at the office of the Ranch they called Frank over who took us to our Condo. My San Felipe Vacation office is only about a block away .The location of condo 744 was great beach front end unit with three large bedroom and 4 bathrooms three car garage. The garage is kind of shallow so we had to park our F150 truck side ways but it still left room for the two quads we rented with our stay. We had an issue with the quad not starting but Frank replaced it right away and extended our time. The level of customer service Frank provided us was fantastic.
The Ultra light guy stopped right outside our back door to see if we wanted a ride, Heck yea. The Pina Colada Guy stopped right outside our back door to see if we wanted a drink, Heck Yea. The food at the onsite restaurant Pavillon was ok. The live music was good. onsite Security was nice. Not many paved roads on the ranch but I like that. We didnt golf but the course seemed well maintained. The gardens around each condo unit was very well maintained. We were within walking distance to three pools tennis courst and three restaurants (thought two were closed at the time). Our unit had no WIFI but we walked to the pool to check emails with the WiFi there.
I did not give 5 stars for a couple reasons. The Condo could have been cleaner. the main things were clean, bathroom, sheets, kitchen. The tile floors needed to be scrub the dressers were dusty little things like that. Also there was a knocking in the wall. Th first night we thought some one was knocking on the door went down and there was no one there, a couple hours later it happened again. By the second night we knew not to get out of bed. I dont know if it was the pipes or what. If your a light sleeper probably dont want to pick unit 744 .The Dryer didnt work but we just hung our beach towels out instead. The refridgerator didnt get real cold so we stored the beer in the freezer side.
Like I said just a few little things nothing that ruined our trip. The condo was good, the location was great, El Dorado ranch was beautiful, San Felipe was nice and Frank was great. We are already planning our next visit.

Casa Rojo and the MySanFelipeVacation team were exceptional. I booked this vacation for my husband and I, and 2 other couples. The booking process was excellent and was even able to get a few questions answered promptly, via email, prior to booking. The house was beautiful and exceptionally clean, everything the pictures depicted. Although we arrived late, and the membership office was closed, the team from MySanFelipeVacation came to meet us and escorted us to the house. The following morning they delivered a fresh gas tank for the grill and additional towels that we requested. Though we didn’t require any additional assistance during the 5 days we vacationed I have no doubt they would have promptly shown up if we had.
It was definitely one of the most relaxing and comfortable vacations we have had. We can’t wait to return to San Felipe, and will always book our lodging with MySanFelipeVacation.

When we rented a condo we were told we would have access to the garage, so we could keep the car cool from the blistering heat. When we got there the garage had a car in it already and we were simply told ‘OWell deal with it’; they did nothing to try an accommidate us, so our car sat out in 100 plus degree weather. Also the air conditioning was not turned on until we arrived so the condo was hot for the majority of the day.
The location was nice, but there is still to much unfinished construction on housing and roads. The property did have security so that was nice. The reason i am giving it only 3 stars is because it is still far from deserving anything higher.

Our family vacation was so awesome!!! Beachside condo!!! 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and beautiful overall! Waking up to a beautiful sunrise and walking on the beach was amazing. My children enjoyed riding the ATV on the beach, pool was great (3 pools available), and Pavillion Restaurant has an awesome breakfast menu. I would definitely be returning soon. One last thing, «The Malacon» in San Felipe is not far from El Dorado Ranch. There is so much to there like ride a boat, Banana boat (the best), the viper, ATV rentals, horse riding, and so much more! !!! So if your looking for a relaxing, fun, family vacation, El Dorado Ranch is the best place to stay. (great service too). Can’t wait to come back.

The house was not clean dusty, floors where dirty, pool was full of dirt. Dishes were dirty.
Upon arriving we had no AC for 3 hours. We asked if there was something they can do for us and we were rudely said NO.
When I reserved I was told they would escort us to the home from El Dorado, that was NOT the case we were sent on our own to a PEMEX gas station and was made to wait.
The Board Walk was nice. But the whole home experience was not a 5 star for the $ 531.00 I payed for 2 days.

Just came back from our lil vacation. all i can say was total relaxation. Arturo took us to our rental and gave us a tour of Casa Esperanza. Beutiful 5 bedroom 4.5 bathroom home. Patricia the housekeeper AMAZING LADY. and took care of everything in a timely matter. replaced the fridge for a new one at 8pm. When the old one stoped working. already want to plan my next trip. really enjoyed our time here.

My family and I decided to go down to San Felipe for a quick little get-​away over winter break. All I can say is WOW!!!
We rented a lovely 2 bedroom/​2 bath condo at LaVentana Del Mar/​on the golf course with a view of the open water. (LaVentana is the only guarded and gated, ²⁴⁄₇ security patrolled property in the San Felipe area. We felt safe and secure the entire time and came to know the guards making their rounds.) Our accommodations were wonderful. Erick and Frankie at My San Felipe Vacations were most helpful prior to our arrival, during our stay and now after. They made sure we had all the details we needed prior to leaving San Diego for our quick drive down the Baja. They continued with awesome service while we were there. We even rented ATV’s from them which they personally delivered right to our unit: helmets and all! We had a blast riding the beaches and the miles upon miles of trails across the road into ElDorado Ranch. We rode all the way out to the mountains. It is gorgeous country!
The beaches at LaVentana go on for miles. Many times you have the entire beach to yourself. It was wonderful! The tides go out over a mile in the evening so it makes for a fabulous walk: collecting sea shells, sand dollars and make sure to bring your digger for Clam digging. We even lit off fireworks every night on the beach! (it is legal in Mexico. There is a fireworks stand on the left side of the road as you drive into San Felipe.) The views from the LVDM beaches are fabulous. You have water views and mountain views. You cannot beat their location. (a couple miles north of San Felipe town)
The community has so much to offer: an 18 hole championship golf course, multiple swimming pools, hot tubs, pretty unspoiled beaches on the Sea of Cortez, ATV riding, many tennis and pickle ball courts, a club house with restaurant and bar, and another restaurant set to open this weekend, Juanitas Cantina!
Excellent service all around from My San Felipe Vacation! We had such a wonderful stay that we have already booked a full ocean view 3 bedroom condo right at the beach for our Spring Break week in April. Cannot wait to return!
If you are looking for a company to rent a vacation unit from in San Felipe, Baja, Mexico, I HIGHLY recommend My San Felipe Vacations. Erick and Frankie go above and beyond to make sure their customers are comfortable & satisfied, before, during and after your stay. San Felipe is a little slice of unspoiled (non-​commercialized) Paradise only 4 hours from San Diego. Rent a unit and go on down. You will not regret it. Enjoy! :)

My friends and I decided to go to San Felipe during a holiday break. The rental home we stayed at was great and the staff was very accommodating.
There’s plenty of things to do while staying there. They have fishing, riding ATVs/​dune buggies, relaxing at the beach, or hanging out at the local strip.
At night, you can hit up the bars and night clubs or if you prefer a little more peace and quiet, you can just grab a chair and stare at the stars. Also, don’t forget to hit up the local food stands. They have some of the best fish tacos ever!

We had a short stay & did not need anything else to be provided
The bathroom light in the master bathroom (Toilet area) was the only thing we found that needed attention
I would consider staying here again and I would recommend the home to friends& family
It would be nice if you provided a «community map» to ensure I don’t drive down the wrong street to get to the rental :)
