Mi familia y yo Cenamos delicioso! Un queso con flor de Jamaica, una ensalada de hongos en escabeche, mole con pollo, pipían con pollo y el pescado con costra de chia, espectacular todo! Incluso el vino!

Our tour guide took us here for lunch and it was quite the treat!

The food was good!
They first serve you with a variety of fresh chips accompanied by 3 diff types of sauces.
I had the sirloin steak, which they call «short ribs». It is not as tender as one would find in finer steak houses in the U.S., but it is flavorful and cooked just the way I like it: charred on the outside, pink on the inside.
Hubby had the sopas (Gosh I forgot the name!) but I had a taste of it and that was delicious!
Victor our guide, had the tamales in mole sauce and loved it!
They ended the meal with a palate cleanser of preserved papaya in honey topped with coconut flakes.
Service was excellent and pricing was decent, too.
Oh, and here in MX, you add the tip BEFORE they tally your order, btw, not having to add/​itemize it later.
