Villa Estrella Mar sleeps 16 people in 7 indescribably unique rooms with ensuite bathrooms. Vaulted ceilings, custom furniture and art collected throughout Mexico and South America, no room is the same. The Carriage House is also available (additional fee) to bring the capacity to 18.

Restored and built as you see it today, Nick Coates built the property in 1995. Roger and Nancy MacPherson have come on board to make this vacation destination an unparalleled experience. Together they have owned properties in Puerto Vallarta for over 35 years now and have always loved the friendly family culture and inviting environment. Villa Estrella Mar was built on the idea of having an authentic rustic Mexican architectural experience. The design provides many private spaces to relax but has gathering places to celebrate together. Our staff is one of our biggest assets. The English-​speaking house staff is there to help with any of your needs from adventures to food choice. They are employed full time and can be trusted as they pamper you and your friends. Responsable

Jordan MacPherson, daughter to the owners Roger and Nancy, works to handle all rentals for the property. She is in charge of the calendar, all bookings, advertising, marketing, and branding of Villa Estrella Mar. She also works to maintainin official websites as well as VRBO websites and other listings. Her goal is to deliver the highest standard of customer service to all renters by assisting in answering questions on current and future rentals and providing access to concierge services.

You know you’re in for a treat when after telling your taxi cab driver where you’re going all you hear are «ooohs» and «ahhhs» from the front seat…
I went here with 15 of my closest friends to celebrate several of us turning 40 this year, but really just to party it up in PV. From the moment we stepped into the elevator (one of two on the property) the whole experience became surreal. The various pictures that you see online don’t do it justice… forget them. We tried, but like those before us it was impossible to capture in mere pictures the grandeur and magnificence of this 20,000+ sqft palace by the ocean (we gave up after the first day). There literally isn’t a bad room in this entire estate– even the «twin room» is ocean front with a balcony and view. Each room is distinctive in its own right and I can honestly say, though we stayed in the 3,000+ sqft master, we would have been ecstatic to stay in any of the suites. The bathrooms by themselves deserve their own features in «Architectural Digest».
Paco, Jovani, Lola, Lupe, and the rest of the staff were simply excellent, not just because they attended to our every whim, but also because they accomplished this while making it seem like we were old friends. The plane ride home was actually a bit sad. We’re going to intensely miss the endless margaritas that just seemed to appear any time a glass became less than full. The feeling of waking up to probably the best view in all of Puerto Vallarta. Sitting at the huge table at breakfast with all of our friends. Being served delectable treats as the sun set over the ocean. Sleeping to the sounds of the waves breaking on the beach beneath our suites…
But I know it will be okay because we’re already planning to do the whole trip again next year– this time just to celebrate being in Puerto Vallarta at quite possibly one of the finest estates in all of Mexico.
