YUM! We found this little gem while wandering around PV on our way to dinner. Stuffed as we were, there’s always room for ice cream! The tiny shop, painted in deep pink, is conveniently located just off the Malecon Boardwalk. There’s no seating inside, but a few outside. Great for people watching. MENU: Ice cream cones and bowls in about 12 different flavors, milk shakes, frozen banana, sundaes, banana split. DESSERT: Ice Cream Cone — Despite not being a fan of sugar cones, theirs was really good, kind of a mix between sugar and a regular. I opted for 2 scoops, chocolate and vanilla, which cost just over $ 4. The flavors were really smooth, creamy, and not overly sweet. As a previous reviewer stated, the ice cream is almost like the consistency of gelato, but is simply regular ice cream. The chocolate was super dark in color, the vanilla very yellow. I’m not sure which flavor it was, but one of them had bits of nuts mixed in, so a warning to those with allergies. I want to go back for more, so if I do, I’ll be sure to accurately update the nut thing. *Update: Went back for more, had the same order, but didn’t taste any nuts this time. Who knows, lol. SERVICE: The 2 workers were friendly and provided quick service despite the volume of patrons. OVERALL: Excellent flavor and consistency.

This is a nice place on the way back from the beach or as desert after one of the many great restaurants on the street. In a cute little shop with seating outside they make a variety of ice-cream flavors. The ice cream is good but not exelent, for me many of the flavors are to subtle. I had the salted carmel pecan. The server listed it as one of the two top sellers, the bites with pecans were really good, the other bites were almost flavorless. I also tried the three berries, the flavor was better mixed on this one but it still had bites with little flavor. In all if I were home I probably would not go back, That said it has a great location, and there are more flavors I havent tried…

Stopped here after a lunch next door at Calle di Olla. We had walked by it the night before and saw many folks standing around cooing over their cones and cups of ice cream. The shop is ultra clean and gal serving the ice cream was very sweet and friendly. They will let you try as many flavors as you want before you decide on your selection. This is handmade, smooth, creamy and silky ice cream. I had the salted caramel with candied pecans. Excellent! Big chunks of pecans and lots of creamy caramel. While I don’t normally hand out 5 stars, Lix gets 5 from me as this is probably the best homemade ice cream in PV that you will find! Prices are high though, so be prepared!

Creamy, smooth, silky ice cream. 18 flavors today. I tried ginger and salted caramel. 2 scoops in a cup = 70 pesos. Not cheap even by USA standards. Sundaes, specialty cones, frozen bananas also premium priced.

As other reviewers have stated, this place serves up fresh handmade ice cream, and you can definitely tell when you take your first taste. They also do milkshakes, which I did not try, but I’m sure they are great also. Lady inside was very helpful and let me sample anything I wanted before I made my choice. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone, especially on a hot day in Puerto.

OMG! This may be the best ice cream I have ever eaten. Denser — almost gelato consistency in an array of mind blowing flavors each better and more intensely flavored than the next. Pick a favorite. I dare you. Maybe the passion fruit or the three berry or the salted carmel pecan or the double chocolate chip or the fresh strawberry or even the decadently rich vanilla. My favorite is the coconut though and I bring a little mini-bottle of Kahlua to pour over it — oh baby! Served by the very lovely«scoop girls» Yazmin and Claudia — they know me far too well. All this fabulous indulgence isn’t’ cheap though — think $ 35 pesos for a single scoop(that’s almost $ 3USD) but you can really indulge with banana splits, sundaes and their frozen/filled bananas dipped in milk or dark chocolate, frozen banana filled with Nutella anyone? Hell yes! Don’t miss this place — I’m telling you. You can thank me later.
