Excellent cheap local food. They don’t speak English so step up ur Spanish game or point. Everything I’ve had here has been superb. Closed on Monday. Juices r fresh from fruit and made to order. If cleanliness or lack of scares u don’t bother. This is a local place. Can be hard to get a seat there is no host so grab one when it opens

This place is located off 30th ave, right around the corner from the famous El Fogon. This spot is open late night and is very busy with locals. I had someone give me a tip to try this place, very local Mayan cuisine. Its a small whole in the wall place with tables out front and usually only one server, which means long waits. They serve up some basic items, tostadas, empanadas, and soup. I got to try both the tostadas and empanadas. They were both very delicious. The chicken was moist and seasoned correctly. The bit of avocado they out on to makes it taste fresh. All the tortillas are made fresh to order and taste amazing. I did not get to try the soup, but I noticed a lot of people around me were eating it, so it must have also been really good. The hot sauce on the table is located in nameless red and yellow squeeze containers, made for ketchup and musturd I suppose. One contains a mild red sauce and the other is a very spicy green sauce that made my eyes water, but it was worth it. For drinks they serve only sodas and agua frescas. I got a horchata, and it was perfectly cinnamon tasting. I highly advise this place, because the food is great, my server didn’t speak English but was very pleasant. They have both menus in English and Spanish. Also, did I mention the food is absolutely dirt cheap? My whole meal was like seven USD(70 pesos). I got a drink and four items along with chips. What a deal.
