This place was one of the many happy memories I have with Grand Luxxe(GL) in Nuevo Vallarta. It’s located in La Plaza ~ a fabulous building that houses the grocery, the bakery, the yogurt place, the dessert stand, the flower shop, the wine shop, the cheese stand, the ‘butcher’, as well as a gift store, a mexican craft store, a Taqueria, and the ultra chic french restaurant Azur. Sweet Paris is a creperie(yes!), and offers both the savory and the sweet kind. Did I try both? You betcha. This was my first meal in GL. I just checked in and was still trying to get my bearings of this enormous resort. I figured I couldn’t go wrong with one of my favorite things to eat in the world ~ a crêpe. I forgot the exact name of what I ordered but it had a couple of meats and cheese in it. So damn good. I probably would’ve been happy with just the crêpe alone without the meat and the cheese. It was delicate, yet firm, with just the right amount of sweetness that sort of melted in my mouth. At one point, I was actually scraping the filling off, and was eating just the crêpe. It was THAT good. I came back here a few days later for breakfast, and this time, I had the sweet crêpe. With nutella, duh. Too sweet, too early, you say? Uhm no. Besides, it’s more like a mid-morning snack, and I enjoyed every bite. Oh, and lest I forget, they also serve specialty coffees. Now, I’m far from being a coffee snob. I haven’t taken the red pill yet that supposedly turns people into one, so take it for what it is when I say their coffee was good. And it came in a big cup. And that halfway through, I could feel the onset of the jitters, lol. I like my sleep, so I left the rest of it alone. Pity, for such a good coffee. But you know the BEST thing about Sweet Paris? Its location. They have tables both indoors and out. If you don’t mind the heat and would like a little bit of a breeze, sit outside and enjoy the views of the snaking wooden pathway through the trees and lush foliage all around, the giant fountain in the middle of a man-made lake, and of course… the ocean beyond. I sat there around sunset and thought, ‘Wow, this was some kind of spectacular.‘ If you can’t take the heat and humidity, feel free to stay inside and enjoy the AC. You will still enjoy the view through the floor-to-ceiling glass walls. Ya, no kidding. If ever you find yourself in the Grand Luxxe, or in any of the other 4 resorts in this complex in Nuevo Vallarta(The Grand Bliss, The Grand Mayan, The Mayan Palace, and The Sea Garden), make sure to stop by this place. I will be back, fingers crossed.

I ordered the S’mores crêpe which was very well done with a good size portion for a crêpe place. The server at the counter asked if I wanted to add ice cream. Which was a good idea, and glad she asked. This place is inside their version of a mall. Called the plaza so it can be very noisy inside. Service quality wasn’t the best compared to the high end restaurants on this resort. But it was more comparable to service at take out places in city’s of Canada. For the price and serving size I give it 5 stars. This place loses one star for the service and the plaza location. Overall a great place if your looking to fill your sweet craving, like I was my first evening in nouveau Vallarta.

The crepes here are done perfectly. I had the Mexicain creep and it’s deliciousness is haunting me. I hope to have it again!!! I also had a very good lemon crêpe. The group I was with all had something different and everyone was very happy! :-)

Very good — kids had the Nutella crêpe a strawberry waffle– both enjoyed. One kid has the pizza crêpe– taste was on — just odd to have pepperoni in a crêpe. Adults had salads which were pleasing.

I ordered the houstonian breakfast crépe and it was amazing! Very cheesy and meaty and filling. I also ordered a cold Mayan chocolate but it came out room temp which was a little disappointing. Staff was friendly but the service was a little slow. Maybe they were busy but I almost thought they forgot about me. I plan on going back so it didn’t ruin the visit :)

My husband and I have been in Mexico for four days, we’ve been to Sweet Paris four times so far. The staff is friendly, and the food is delicious. I have more of a sweet tooth, so I recommend the sweet crepes and waffles.(We have 6 more days in PV, can’t wait to eat here again) Also, it’s the only place at La Plaza that serves warm food the whole day)

After seeing this charming little café almost daily, I decided that I could not leave Nuevo Vallarta without trying it. Sweet Paris creperie & café is located on the Vidanta Resort in The Plaza. There is a decent amount of café style seating and most tables have a view of the ocean. It is just adorable and has a great selection of sweet and savory crepes. I ordered the chicken carbonara crêpe… fresh chunks of chicken, tons of crispy bacon, mushrooms, melted cheese and sauce. It melted in my mouth. My daughter tried the espresso a few days back. She is a coffee snob and was very happy with her coffee. She also tried the hot chocolate(Mayan Chocolate) today and said it was tasty. It is a great little place to grab a quick meal or snack!
