Tiny cozy place in the middle of a chaotic and deteriorated street. Food is not that great though. For a similar concept but better taste and variety, head to Los Vegetarianos, a few blocks away from that(Madero 56), where you can look at the actual dishes they have on the daily menú(helpful for foreigners that speak«no español»).

Acuarius was our destination after a second day full of sight seeing. Don’t come here expecting to see tourists or non Spanish speaking cliental(: We had left the Palace of fine arts and were both starving, I was armed with a map of every vegetarian restaurant in Df. By fate this happened to be the closest. After finally finding Articulo 123 we had the honor of trying to locate this upstairs gem. To get to the restaurant Yoga studio you walk up this spiral stair case over a Auto Parts type store. Forgive me if I’m wrong. For lack of a better term it is Prix Fix. You choose your soup/Ensalada and then 2 mains and they serve you a small treat with coffee or tea. The meal also comes with Juice but our lack of Spanish and distance from the tourist areas kept us from drinking it. We tried to ask several times in our horrible disconnected English however were unable to convey our question. The family was kind and the food delicious; but was like homemade instead of restaurant quality.(I appreciate this very much as a home cook) I feel after experiencing this restaurant and others abroad as tourists it really pays to walk a few blocks out of your way and eat with locals. Lovely place! Don’t expect it to cater to tourists, Europeans or Americans. Soak up local culture(:
