Great Hotel and centrally located. The place is clean and the rooms very comfortable. The roof top pool is the perfect place to float around after a day of sight-seeing. Would I go back… Yes. Try to get to a higher floor… the street noise is noticeable and can be heard from the lower floors on the weekends. Was there for 4 nights.

Part of Las Brisas Hotel Collection, Galeria Plaza Reforma hotel is in Mexico City’s Financial District and Zona Rosa neighborhood. I spent five nights at the hotel. It is a nice property — recently renovated, spacious and comfortable rooms, and friendly staff. There is also on-site restaurants, a fitness facility and an outdoor rooftop pool. In general, I found the staff to be very friendly and professional and the property well maintained. I especially liked that the hotel is just steps from many of Mexico City’s most popular LGBT nightlife outlets. The two areas where the hotel falls short: its club level and the WiFi service. The free breakfast in the club level is sparse and what is provided is not kept well stocked. And the WiFi signal is weak and extremely slow when you are connected.

We would definitely return! The Galería Plaza staff seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs. Employees from the concierge(we loved Alfredo and Carlos!) to the room attendants(the housekeeping manager was so kind) were friendly and thoroughly helpful. The suites were more stylish than expected for a hotel in the Federal District. The location was great– walking distance from delicious breakfast and dinner haunts high and low. Even the drivers that they linked us with were hospitable and professional(Thank you, Frankie). The wi-fi was consistent. As soon as we noticed that the shower was slow to drain, we alerted the hotel. Within a minute, maintenance was at at our door. The problem was quickly remedied and we had no other problems. The gym was larger than most hotel gyms I’ve encountered and the equipment/machinery was up-to-date. I think the views from the elliptical overlooking beautiful Mexico City may have even encouraged me to workout longer than planned!

This is maybe the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The cuisine was unimaginative and was not held at proper serving temperature. The maintenance was obviously insufficient. I was in a group with 16 rooms and the room safes were inoperable in 4 of them. And no one cared!!! Would not stay here again under any circumstances.
