Close to the airport, it’s a popular spot for airline crews during a layover. The tortas are huge so plan on taking leftovers with you on your departing flight. Service is friendly and the place is spotlessly clean.

Suppose you had a light dinner in some far away airport and then took a redeye to Mexico City, missed breakfast, and now it’s midday and you have some time to kill before you can check into your hotel or catch some other long flight. Snag an Über for a short ride to this place for the bomb tortas and flautas. The tortas are absurdly large. Half of one will force you into siesta. A whole one would kill a gorilla. The flautas milenese were superb and would satisfy the most desperate meataholic. I went with a vegetarian friend and he was disappointed with the cheese torta which basically amounted to an inch-thick slab of cheese on bread, but look, if you’re a vegetarian in Mexico City you’re basically screwed anyway. I had the horchata which was just OK — I regret not getting a cold beer. I would give it 5 stars if they took cards, but alas they don’t. We were the only Americans in the place: we never would have found it had we not been with some associates who work near the airport.
