Mi Pueblito Restaurante

I would never have been in Matamoros nor found this place, without my guides (gf parents) who lived in Matamoros for a while. While visiting the city for a day doing shopping, they had specific plans to visit this restaurant.
We ordered and ate family style so there was plenty to go around — but what stood out to me was the delicious variety of salsa and queso, the very soft and chewy tortillas, and the perfectly seasoned and grilled meat.
Fresh lime for everything and impeccable service capped off a delicious dinner.
