Ate there yesterday, not at all impressed. When we were here four years ago there were different owners and we ate there many times. Service was good, waiter was very pleasant and spoke excellent English, but the food(chicken tacos) was mediocre at best.

This restaurant is located right on the Square and sitting outside is quite nice. Of the 4 dishes we had, all were great except mine. The pork was a bit tough. I tried the other 3 which was great. 650 pesos(Less than US$ 40) was great value. It’s a winner.

We stumbled upon this place and ended up spending a few hours here. The food was excellent, and Plaza Leza has some very addicting hot sauce. We sat on the patio and took in the view as various music and dancing entertainers came by. When we return to Cozumel, this will be one of the first stops!

Best Mexican food in Cozumel! I have been here 3 times over the last 4 years, and wish I could live on this island and feast here daily for the rest of my life. Carne asada, beans, guac and chips are all delicious. But the winner here is the queso fundido, which is served in a fondue type dish that keeps the cheese hot and melted for easy consumption! Que rrrrrrico! I don’t have a picture, sadly, because my phone was stolen on the cruise ship, so you’ll just have to take my word for it. It’s a must order! Make sure you venture into the back past the sunken bar and take a look around. There are always some really interesting items to gaze at back there. Plaza Leza is a short walk SE off of Av. General Rafael Melgar JUSTNORTH of Calle Docotor Salas. As you walk down the street, the restaurant will be on your right. I put the Unilocal map indicator pretty much right on the location. I hope it helps!
