Amazing Cabo Bar Crawl

Had to try this bar crawl after reading all about it. We went last Thursday ⁵⁄₂₈. Apparently we went on a night with one of the highest # of people signed up for it in a while — there were over 20 teams and over 70 people crawling. Because there were so many other people we were joined up with another couple. Apparently our team really wanted to actually win, so we spent a lot of time running between bars in an attempt to win. As a result, we came in 6^th out of those 20+ teams, but also finished relatively quickly in an hour twenty minutes or so. I wish we had taken the time to hang out and experience the bars more and enjoy them, but such is the consequence of trying to win; you’re only at each bar for a micro second if you’re trying to win. It was a lot of fun and glad we did it and saw many bars we never would have. I’m sure the people that finished near the end of the pack and took 2 hours had just as much fun as the faster people. Assuming they keep shuffling the bars around for variety, I would definitely do this again, or at least try the day time one.

Going to Cabo and not doing the bar crawl is a mistake. This is FUN! A team of 3 or 4 is the way to go so you don’t get too tipsy. You learn the city, see some really col places and drink some tasty drinks along the way. Trust me here, this is one of the best vacation excursions of my life.

After a lazy day in Cabo, lying around the pool or hanging out on Medano Beach what better way to spend your evening than running and drinking, right? If your answer is «No» then you obviously haven’t done «The Amazing Cabo Bar Crawl». This party on the move gives participants the opportunity to compete against other teams, visit some local spots that you might otherwise miss and try drinks that are off the charts.
The race starts at Wicked Pizza (excellent pizza BTW) where you meet the «Amazing» staff, Kathi, Scott, Charlene and Ryan. They get you lined out with the rules of the game and give you a few pointers that will help along the way. Because «Wicked» also has a well-​stocked bar and ice cold beer this is a great time to prime the pump for the evening ahead. I will take the opportunity now to say that this race is better run as a pair or a team. The first time I participated in The Cabo Bar Crawl my wife and I did it as a pair and we had a pretty good buzz. The second time we worked as a team of 4… and we had a pretty good buzz. Do you see a pattern starting to form here? You’re going to be drinking! Don’t get me wrong, you shouldn’t be fall-​down drunk, but you’ll catch a nice buzz for sure.
I’m not going to let out any information about where the course leads you because that just wouldn’t be fair and it might actually hurt you because the spots you hit change regularly. I’ll also refrain from mentioning the specific drinks because there is some occasional «shock and awe» although most everything is pretty normal with the occasional challenge. I will tell you that as a regular visitor to Cabo «The Crawl» has brought me to several places I had never visited and are now in my regular rotation. We also tried some new drinks that weren’t previously on my radar but I will partake of for sure on future visits.
Now don’t get too caught up with the whole competition part of the event. You can go as fast or slow as you please and you’ll have a great time either way. You younger folks tend to take it a little more seriously than the more experienced drinkers in the crowd. The price is $ 59 per person which includes all of the alcohol and fun you’ll consume, but there are many coupons available to bump the price down to $ 39 which is a monster deal. If you are looking to experience something different in Cabo The Amazing Cabo Pub Crawl is definitely the thing to do.

What a fun night out! It’s the #1 rated «nightlife» activity on TripAdvisor right now, so figured we’d give it a try, and we had a blast! You basically go bar-​hopping to about a dozen bars, and at each bar you have to complete a «challenge» or puzzle, and then you get a clue to take you to the next bar. Everyone was really friendly — the staff, the bars, and the other patrons, and even the locals, who often helped us along the way. A really unique way to experience a lot of «new» bars beyond Cabo Wabo and Giggling Marlin — although we did have the experience of getting hoisted upside down at Giggling Marlin, too.
There was a nice mix of all ages, from pretty young (18+) to pretty old, but everyone had a great time. It’s actually not as much drinking as you might expect, but enough to make it fun, and still good value. Price is currently $ 59/​person, but just $ 39/​person if you book online in advance w/​discount code. Definitely recommend this «amazing» Cabo bar crawl!
