Since 1996, Mike has traveled dozens of times to Veracruz to keep learning more about their regional customs, rich history, and its extensive geographic diversity. Over the years, he developed a special affection for the pristine outdoor beauty and the local good-​natured people he discovered in the east coast state of Veracruz. He calls this tropical and mountainous Gulf of México region, «Mexico’s Forgotten Coast.»

Mike noticed that during every one of his many journeys to Veracruz, he would encounter very few vacationing foreigners. Even in the bigger cities located in the state, he rarely spotted other international travelers. In fact, the local people would often be staring at him because they simply do not see many non-​Mexicans walking their streets.

Because of his enthusiasm for exploring México and especially the state of Veracruz, Mike decided to create this unique tour company which specializes in introducing international travelers to «Mexico’s Forgotten Coast.»
