I came here in a group of 8. Since this café is located outside of Taipan, parking wasn’t that bad. I would say this café is catered more towards groups of 2 – 5, but luckily the folks at Meteora were nice enough to rearrange the chairs/table to accommodate us. Kudos to them. I ordered a salted caramel hot chocolate. It was rich, but it could use a little more salt and heat. I absolutely love what they did with the décor. It exudes a very calming ambiance. I would go back just to soak in the vibe.

Just down the road from the famous La cocina, you’d find meteora café. This friendly, laid back café will grab your attention the minute you drive pass the outside with its huge drop lights. In this very brightly lit café, you’d get to read, chill & unwind. A favorite hang out spot for the Uni students as they have sofa’s & quiet area for you to hit on the assignments. This place serves some neat comfort food, whether its their roast lamb on the bed of creamy mash potatoes or something savory & sweet like their churros, Im sure you will fall in love with this place, just like me! Simple, sweet & straight to the point! Check it out

This one of my favorite cafes in Subang. They are very generous with their food portions and the a must-try is the fried wedges. It is sprinkled with mixture of salt and Italian herbs which really gives the wedges a unique flavor. and it’s addictive too! I’ve been to Meteora countless times and without fail I will always order the Churros. Crispy on in outside and moist on the inside, dipped in the salted caramel sauce mmmm… heavenly!

If you’re looking for Churros, Meteora is a place you need to check out. The churros here are crunchy on the outside but soft and fluffy on the inside and are rolled in a generous amount of cinnamon sugar. The 7 piece set comes with 7 churros and 2 dipping sauces, salted caramel and chocolate. The chocolate sauce was just your standard Hershey’s chocolate sauce but the Salted Caramel sauce was out of this world. It tasted like it was homemade and we finished the whole saucer in just a few minutes And when we asked for another round of dipping sauce he brought out another one and didn’t even charge us for it! The Hazelnut Chocolate pot was pretty good but it’s kind of like a fudge in a pot and got to be much too sweet after a few bites. Hot chocolate here comes in a really cute mug and is better than most café hot chocolate! The Horlicks Latte is worth a try for those who want a little taste of their childhood in a mug. The atmosphere here is pretty chill. The lights are pretty cool here.(they remind me of spaceships for some reason) There’s even an outdoor smoking area with fans for those who smoke.

The churros here are a must have when eating at Meteora. These delicious, crispy golden babies had me craving for more after my first bite. Meteora pairs their churros with dipping sauce. We chose the chocolate and butterscotch dipping sauce which was extremely delectable. Their hot chocolate was also marvelous. Unlike many hot chocolates I’ve tasted which were diluted, the ones here were thick and rich. Who knew that simmering hot chocolate and churros made such a good combo? The environment here is lovely. The place is nicely decorated with framed vintage posters and brightly lit lanterns. Food and drinks are also moderately priced.

I’ve been hearing a whole lot about Meteora as some sort of «student haven» from a couple of my buddies. So on one fine Saturday morning, I decided to drop by USJ9 for a quick look see. I instantly fell in love with their colourful pin-ups of famous enigmas like Audrey Hepburn and Superman. Meteora radiated that classic retro vibe as if it was specially tailored to the needs of 90’s kids everywhere. I decided to give their infamous churros a shot. Basically all I could manage to muster at that point was a very embarrassing, «MOREPLEASE.» Their sticks were still hot and heavenly when dipped with their chocolate sauce. I don’t know how this wasn’t the first thing that I noticed, but Meteora also designates a special spot complete with chairs and power outlets that most students utilise for their assignments and course work. If you ever find yourself in the neighbourhood, be sure to check them out!

I visited this café quite awhile back when my other half was actually looking for a place/café to chill and study in preparation for her exams during study break period. With the help of technology aka. «Google», «Wallah!» here we are at Meteora Café situated at USJ Taipan area. During our initial visit here, we were actually quite lucky as we managed to get a parking space just in front of the café considering the fact that it is practically impossible to find a parking space during working hours here. As we entered the café, everything seems fine and nothing out of the ordinary. They have all the essentials like air conditioning, wi-fi and so on. Their coffee is alright and I ordered some churros to go with my latte. I find this place very cozy and quiet, which is perfect for people who want to study or even read a book. If it is not for the difficulty in getting a parking space here, I would definitely be a regular at this café.

I’ve been looking at this café for almost everytime got here but this time, I finally got the chance to be here with one of my friend. By looking at the name of this café, it really sounds fushion-ish. This café is located on the opposite of kedai mamak Makbul and Murni USJ. A really nice interior full with white lanterns on the ceiling. Looks simple and cozy. Without wasting our time, we ordered some foods and drinks that compactible with our tea-time session that moment. They said they have best Churros in town and we decided to test it all by myself. There are 7 sticks for each serving alongside 2 types of dipping — Caramel and Chocolate. Yup, I had to agree with them. This is the probably one of the best Churros I’ve ever tasted. And it’s Brownies is also the top of the agenda. Serve with a large scoop of vanilla flavored ice-cream on the top, this meal was just cost me RM5. So cheap. For those big eaters, you don’t have to worry as this place also provides the heavy meals such as pasta and burgers. Do come here and try them especially the Churrous. You migh wanna thanks me later.

Study break is one of my many excuses to go for café hopping. I am not a person who can sit at home and hide myself in a room to do my readings. I end up falling asleep if I do that. Hahah. I need to be at somewhere nice, quiet, with food supply. Get to know about Meteora Café from a friend mine who likes to go there for their churros. Coffee and churros. hmm. It fits my ‘requirement’ of a study place. So, of course, I did go there to study and at the same time try out their coffee and foods. Every café I go, I will surely have their latte. Meteora café is not an exception. As for food, I had their pancakes and churros. They are indeed a guilty pleasure, so delicious yet so fattening. I don’t mind being a little fatter for their fluffy pancakes and churros! Meteora Café also serves cakes, burgers and pastas. I am too full to try any of those after gulping down those pancakes and churros. Next time perhaps. Oh, and by the way, Meteora Café provides board games for their customer to play while chilling out too. My sole purpose there is to study(besides eating hehe.). Hence, no board game for me.
