I’m not a fan of fried foods, but this place is an exception. I usually go for their tofu in soup as well as their beancurd rolls. Yong Tau Foo is usually cheap, ranging at about RM1.30 or so per piece. They have many things here that are Chinese favorites, from fried stuffed eggplants, stuffed okra, stuffed chilli, tofu, fried bean curd rolls, dumplings and many more. I really like the soup here, very peppery. Overall, it’s great for any Yong Tau Foo lovers or those who just like to have a small bite throughout the day.

Ladies finger, tau foo pok, white tofu, brinjal, and bitter gourd, stuffed with fish paste mixed with pork and salted fish, freshly cooked, dipped in some oyster sauce and chili. Now, this is what I call a good Yong Tau Foo! Not to forget the crispy fu chuk and shui gao — a must on the table, two plates full please! There is nothing I hate about this family restaurant. They food may take some time to be served when it’s crowded but it’s worth the wait. It won’t be too bad when you have company. The place is small, so you may have to wait for a table during the weekends, but don’t worry, one will empty up soon enough, because it doesn’t take long to finish a meal of yong tau foo. You can choose to go in pairs, in a small group, or big group because they have small tables as well as those big round ones — good for family dinners. Give this place a try, it’s currently still my favourite yong tau foo shop despite having to drive 40 minutes to get there.
