This is my favourite ramly burger stall… my ultimate favourite. I cannot stress how much I love their«Double Trouble». They sell the usual Ramly dishes like hot dogs, chicken and beef burgers, egg burgers etc. The double trouble consist of 2 patties, a cheese slice in between and the whole of it wrapped in a fried omellete, topped with some vegetables, and the buns are lightly toasted with majerine. It is amazing. It isn’t the cleanest place ever since ITIS a food stall after all but I’ve had it for years without issues. They usually have a super long line but the food is ultimately worth the wait.

«I’m hungry,» I said to my brother after watching Jon Favreau’s Chef. «I feel like having a burger.» And that’s basically how I got to this place. Like everyone in my family, my brother loves food — street food, especially. This is one of the many places around the Klang Valley that sells Ramly burgers. And to be honest, I haven’t had many in the past to be an expert of pegging who makes the best Ramly burgers. My brother on the other hand had his fair share and I have to rely on his recommendation tonight. We arrived around 10.30PM and there was a line(which is a good sign I guess?). There are two guys operating this street vendor — chef and sous chef. The chef took orders while making these bad boys. I watched how he made it while he chatted away with me on taking photos of his works. My brother and I got two Double Beef Specials which essentially are two beef patties wrapped in egg and a slice of cheese. This place serves fish, beef, chicken and sausages(hot dogs) under the normal burger menu. The difference between an oblong burger and the normal burger is(as you would’ve guessed) the size of the buns. They use hotdog buns for oblong instead. As expected, the place isn’t hygienic at all — I spotted a rat running in the background and a tiny cockroach crawling behind the glass stall where he stores the sauce. But nobody buys a Ramly for its cleanliness! Part of the Ramly Burger experience is ‘living life on the edge’! Just as long as the burger is awesome, the aftermath diarrhoea effect is worth it. Unfortunately for me, I’ve had my fair share of unprocessed meats in my burger. So I did not enjoy the burger much. The buns were toasted perfectly though and had a perfect mixture of sauces. I couldn’t taste the cheese despite watching him wrap a cheese slice in between two Ramly patties. Oh well. I don’t think I would ever try a Ramly burger ever again — personal biased opinion because I just don’t enjoy consuming processed meat. Therefore, this review is useless to people who are searching for delicious Ramly burgers because they genuinely enjoy Ramly patties. Sorry guys! Giving it a two stars because I didn’t enjoy the meal and an additional star for a friendly service, The chef is really nice — he speaks English too! I try to reply him in Malay though. Emphasis on ‘try’. #shameonme
