I used to pass by this restaurant only. Whenever I pass by, the smell of the fried chicken is so awesome. It’s very nice fragrance smell. One day, my colleague bring me here and said the dish is superb. There are 2 section. 1 section is you order and they prepare for you. You can choose chicken rice, nasi lemak, nasi lontong, and nasi kukus. I choose nasi kukus. It just a plate of rice with a small plate of chili sauce, few pieces of cucumber, ¼ salted egg and a piece of fried chicken. The special is the left over for the fried chicken which in very crispy stuff. It’s super yummy. The other section is you take your own rice according to your own appetize with your selection to your dish among fish, chicken, vegetable etc. After you get your food, you will need to queue up to order drink and make payment. The cashier is quite slow. Hopefully it can be faster in the future as we only have lunch for an hour only.

Ahh yes one of my favourite restaurant when I started working around the area. Why do you I say so? The food is spicy, the choices are huge and parking is not an issue. Though the service is a little slow during lunch hours but oh well, at least my colleagues and I got a seat and our food ready, there’s nothing much to complain there! They do have an extensive menu, from nasi kukus, lemak, lontong to mix rice with all sorts of dishes which include fried chicken, fish, ayam masak merah, tons of vegetables dishes and many more. They even serve nasi dagang for those who really fancy Kelantanese food! That’s not all, the prices for these dishes is really reasonable to the extend I could go for seconds!

I used to work around the industrial Glenmarie area which is saturated with a vast majority of chinese food and Khareyanis was introduced to me by a colleague. The place is located at a corner shop lot and is famous for their nasi kukus served with a side of fresh hot fried chicken marinated with spices, salted egg and a bowl of beef curry. I could eat this dish almost every week though the restaurant also offers other east coast dishes such as tom yam, nasi dagang and malay mix rice. It can sometimes be quite a wait as the fried chicken takes a while to cook and the restaurant can be pretty packed as well. Prices are surprisingly well affordable here as my meal is always below Rm10. There is an empty carpark lot located just opposite the place so it shouldn’t be an issue to get carpark.
