Back in my secondary school days, me and my school mates are crazy about swimming as we believed that it has significant benefits to our physical well-being(in layman’s term, attaining a «Hot» body). I remembered we would visit this public swimming centre at least twice a week on Friday afternoons and Sunday mornings(this craze have been on-going for about a year until we finally gave up, hahaha). We choose this swimming centre as it is probably the only indoor Olympic size swimming pool facility nearest to Klang at that moment and with their reasonable entry fees made it the ideal place for us to swim. One of the things that I like about this swimming centre is that their indoor pool is reasonably deeper as compared to other swimming pools, this really proved to be an advantage as I feel that I can swim better and properly without having to accidentally kicking the bottom of the pool. Other than that, I feel that this place can always improve on their cleanliness, especially the bathroom facilities. Other than that it will definitely be an amazing place to visit.

Watery places are not my cup of tea. It’s not that I’m afraid of shark or something(that’s just the most literally stupid excuse that I ever heard) but it’s because I can’t swim. Yeah, true indeed. By the time I put my leg into any pool of something, I will risk my life to 70% chance of being drown. Darul Ehsan Aquatic Centre is large swimming pool that located in the middle of Shah Alam city. I was forced by my girlfriend to accompany her and her little sister. Since this place is open for public, you can’t expect you’ll get an exclusive swimming spot here. You have to pay to enter but it’s not that expensive actually. The place is usually crowded because they also provide swimming classes for young kids. There’s not much thing that I could tell you about this place since I just sat by the pool and see my girlfriend is having fun with her sister. For those who doesn’t own a swimming pool at home, this could be the place for you guys who really seeking for peaceful by swimming.

Are you interested in taking up swimming lessons? Do you want to swim in an olympic sized swimming pool? Come on down to Pusat Akuatik Darul Ehsan. The indoor pool is where they hold all the higher level’s classes and competitions. The outdoor pool is for people who just want to swim and not take up swimming lessons and for the little kid’s classes. When you get to level 6, you have to be there for at least 2 months: 1 for speed, the other for endurance. You have to pass both of them in order to get to level 7. I really like PADE because it really teaches you how to improve your strokes.

If you’re looking for a place to take up swimming lessons, I strongly recommend you to Pusat Akuatik Darul Ehsan or PADE for short Super Sharks swimming lessons. There are many levels from 1 to competitive level and you have an assessment after 7 classes. The fees(paid per level) is affordable and the teachers are good and towards the lower levels, are patient. When you reach level 6, you would have to do 30 minutes of land drills to warm up first and 1 hour of swimming. I find that there are too many people taking up lessons here though, so in the 1 hour, you’re actually doing 20 minutes work of swimming. Besides the Super Sharks program, there’s also a pool for outsiders who want to swim freely. They have to pay an entrance fee before they can enter and there’s a store that sells swimming equipment like boards, fins and s on.
