I decided to try Three Little Pigs & The Big Bad Wolf because of the name. I went on a weekday evening and it was not too crowded. The restaurant is spacious and I love that there is a decent gap between the tables. I tried the Mighty Piggy burger which has fried egg in the burger and it was so delicious. The egg was perfectly cooked the day I tried it. Another burger they had that seemed to be tasty was the BIg Bad Burger. For me, the burger was a little dry. The bacon was a little too salty as well. So I would not recommend this as tempting as the burger sound. Overall a pleasant meal and I would come back again to try their pasta. Only complain that I have is that it takes them quite awhile to serve the food.

I grew up in a country where pork is king and beer is cheap. That is the reason my friends and I scour KL and PJ for the best pork restaurants. Three little pigs always hits the right spot for our pork cravings. The rack of ribs is good. However, I have tried better elsewhere. In Malaysia, though, it is in the upper echelons of ribs classification system. The bacon wrapped meatloaf was just amazing. Fondly called as the termeatnator, or am I making this up, this dish is oozing with meaty goodness. Yum! The pork knuckle is big let down, though. I expect my pork knuckles to have crunchy skin and juicy meat. Instead, this restaurant’s version is quite the opposite. The skin is rather chewy and the meat is lean. It is verging on the dreaded dry side. Not being a braggart but I can cook better deep fried pork knuckles. :) The pasta, though, will catapult you to cloud 9! My friends find the soft shell crab carbonara too rich. For me, it is just right. The bacon wrapped scallops are sinful. I love every part of it. Sans the pork knuckle, this restaurant can be a total knockout.

Besides, the original branch in Bangsar Village I. This outlet in Tropicana Mall has made it so much more convenient for the PJ residents. The interior and the vibe is almost identical except they are just missing the«glass house» & natural sun light they have in BV I. It was almost a full house for a week night when we were there. That night… I decided to be adventurous and try something else on the menu, The Big Bad Burger(RM28++)! And while it wasn’t too bad –i can’t say it was my favourite. I still find their pasta — The Wolf’s Favourite(RM29++) triumphs ALL which comes in a creamy pasta with poached egg, mushrooms and bacon. So, if you are going there for the first time, you should play it safe and order the bestsellers like this pasta. But OHMYGOD, this Porky Fries which is really Spam on sticks — is so ingenious and down right yummy. We had to refrain ourselves from ordering another one, i kid you not. They also serve Beer, which goes so well with all these porky treats. Noms.

Porky lover’s paradise!!! You have to come in earlier to ensure yourself a seat though. It’s always packed when its during lunch hour or dinner time. Sometimes the waiting list can be as long as 25 mins or maybe even longer. I love the fried rice there. I was particularly hungry on a friday night and decided to go for rice. Got it was like the best thing ever invented. It’s sooooo goooodddd! The rice is actually japanese rice! On another occassion I tried their burger amd it was good too. Juicy patty and nice presentation. Pretty good stuff! Well for some of those who will need red wine to complement your pork, fret not, wines are available in the house. You will get your share don’t worry. The premise is pretty spacious, there’s also an extended area where it seems like a private room. I think they can be reserved for occassions, not entirely sure, but they are definitely open to assist you. :)

The name of this restaurant is just so different that I had to give it a try. Also because its all about pork: D The restaurant is quite big and always filled with people whenever i go. The menu looks very interesting as there as so many dishes to choose from. I decided to go with The Wolf’s Favourite Pasta(RM27). This pasta is a cream based pasta with smoked pork bacon, a small and cute poached egg, and top with bacon bits. The dish was so delicious but as I kept eating, the creaminess was a little too much for me as it was quite creamy/cheesy and heavy. The egg was poached perfectly and the bacon tasted heavenly. To add to the calories: D, I ordered a chocolate +rum + banana milk shake. It was the best milkshake that I’ve ever tasted. It was moderately sweet and creamy from the chocolate + banana combination and the alcohol taste of the rum combined all the ingredients together and made it a mouth watering milk shake. A must try! Besides the food, I also love the ambience and the friendly staff there as they’re always with a smile on heir face, ready to help you. To sum it up, I would go back there mainly for the milkshake but I wouldn’t mind trying some of the other porky delights: D

Though it was a big event tomorrow, some of us were wandering around looking for a place to eat. We decided to give this restaurant a try. I couldn’t eat other food there as it is non-halal so I gave the fish n chips a try. As for my friends, they tried the pork chop. My friend mentioned the pork chop was good as compared to other places he visited. As for my fish n chips, i find the portion a little small for the price I am paying. As for the fish fillet, I find it, a little overcooked as I could see some dark spots at the bottom. Overall, the food was just okay and the ambience was just like typical restaurant. But if you guys enjoy pork chop do visit this place though!

Pork lover, rejoice! Three Little Pigs & The Big Bad Wolf serves some kick-ass pork dishes which will leave you wanting for more. I went to their branches in Bangsar Village and Tropicana City Mall, and had great experience with both restaurants. The place is always packed and is a must to make reservation or else be ready to wait in line, and sometimes the waiting list can be quite long. I’ve heard so much about their signature dish — The Wolf’s Favourite and I knew I have to give it a try. It’s carbonara with crispy bacons, pork and topped with a poached egg. I love the cheesy gravy, the runny egg added extra creaminess into, and the bacons gave the dish some texture. Looking for something less creamy and cheese? Try the Pork Lover’s Aglio e Olio — spaghetti top with meatball and roast pork. The spaghetti was seasoned perfectly, the meatball was surprisingly succulent and the roast pork was crispy but not too fattening at the same time. Not a fan of pork? Fret not! They have options such as the Spaghetti with Crispy Soft Shell Crab and Salmon Roe(not too sure what’s the exact name on the menu). The spaghetti was drizzled with rich sesame dressing and the soft shell crab was fried to crispy. If you are really hungry or decided to have a «big breakfast», do try the I’m So Hungry I Could Eat A Wolf — the portion was really big. The scrambled eggs were nice and moist, mushroom sautéed to perfection, nice crispy hash brown and juicy pork patty. On the other hand, I tried their ribs and was very disappointing. I find the ribs had too much fat, and I would prefer my ribs to be fork tender and less fat. Some might argue that the dishes are too expensive, which I would agree. However, I think it’s totally fine to reward ourselves with some delicious meal once in a while.

Totally satisfied with the ambience and quality of service. Me and my friend ordered Wolf’s Favourite and Caesar Salad. Food is very well decorate. However, I’m not very appealed to the bacon in both dishes. For me, they are a bit too salty and it kinda affects the whole dish. Not sure if it only happens to our Wolf’s Favourite, the dish was a little too oily. For the salad, it looks a bit too raw and«unmixed» for me. I don’t really get to eat the salad except eating the vege, bacon and bread individually. Again, the salty bacon is too much for me. I told my peers about my experience and they reckoned that I had ordered the wrong dishes. They recommend Mighty Piggy Burger and pork steak. Perhaps, they are right.

Being the only edible place for you to consume anything in Tropicana City Mall, the Three Lit– Oh, gosh, what a long name for a restaurant that is only famous for one type of meat. Anyway, the food is delicious, from the bacon burgers to the swine steak(ha!), I am very impressed with the dishes that they offer, albeit the oiliness and the general lack of attention to most of the customers. The names of the dishes are cute too, from the cool sounding Wolf’s Favorite to the lame Pork Lover’s Oglio Olio, it is named to entice the unsuspecting ones to enjoy their perfectly cooked dishes. If you love the swine itself, do go there. If you do not, steer yourself away and cry as you would probably regret your decision. Cry. CRY.

Dinner at the Three Little Pigs & The Big Bad Wolf on a Saturday evening can be quite overwhelming for some. Especially when it is in a shopping mall like Tropicana where there are endless throngs of people out and about looking for dinner too. As such we were lucky we didn’t have to wait long to be seated at out table. A little later and we might had to wait for about half an hour. So be aware that. The place is quite spacious and airy too, with effective customer service by the restaurant crew. I’m sometimes amazed how some waiters can keep up their cheerful demeanor despite hours of service. You’ll find it here, which is a good thing. My friend had the Wolf’s Bite(RM29) which was rich, creamy and lots of ingredients. She found herself struggling to finish it due to its creaminess. As for myself, I had the Pork Lover’s Aglio Olio which was not too bad. It was garlic-y, which was just how I like it and the pork flavour goes really well. All in all, I would say that this restaurant has pretty decent food that you go have once in a while. Price is little on the high side, but I guess that is what you’d expect from a pork serving restaurant.

At first wondered what is with the name of the café going viral? three little pigs cooking in a café?(pun intended). Everyone was dying to taste the food, Everyone was posting pictures around the internet and it broke the internet for 2 weeks. So after months of months trying to find time, i finally found an excuse to go and reward myself from buying myself a new phone with my partner. So we went in, greeted by the waiter. The time we went in was 9.30pm(LASTCALL) so we were one of the last ones. So we ordered quickly, my partner loves burger and when the bacon beef burger came, it didnt really attracted our eyes but i think our saliva was drooling down, dramatic as it gets, wait till you see the picture. Such a huge patty! The bacon looks like its not been too cook and perfectly simmered. My pasta came and pasta is pasta. No different. However, one thing unique about it is that my pasta has avocado and salmon and CABONARA! This place is defeinitely to come back again and as the waiters were putting the chairs up on the table doing closing, they actually sang together from the song coming from the radio and that is a nice feeling to see. the bonding of each other. A good healthy work place leads a good healthy business. Everyone help each other. The next time i would love to see is going in there when is crowded to see how they handle the crowd.
