As it only opens from 4 p.m. until 4 a.m., this place is best for dinner, supper or late night snacks with the buddies. There’s also a huge projection screen for people to watch their sports. Which is just as well, because it’s torturous to be there in the middle of day cos it’s open air sort of place. There’s no proper parking per se, but after 4 p.m., you can park on the side of the road without getting towed or ticketed. Food choices are… average. Averagely priced. Definitely for the under 25 set and not so much for the above 25 set: P

Unique port for unique food in an outdoor setting. But dislike the small aisle placed with the shisha stands. They should do something on the way they place the shisha stands to prevent accident or to make non shisha lovers happier.

Another container themed café but it is in PJ, yeay! Not that it is super fun having meals in a container but it’s just happening to see cool and awesome themed cafes mushrooming in Malaysia. :D Slightly different with the on in JB, the Port here is sort of combinations of many stalls under one roof. You can basically find Asian Fusion, Breakfast menus, Burgers, Italian, Middle Eastern, Pizza, Sandwiches, Seafood and Thai cuisines here. Best place for gathering, shisha-ing, and some even had a meeting here. I did, once. If the neighbors and the timing was just fine, you can actually has a meeting here, but not advisable. Lols. The chilly environment somehow comforts you to stay here longer and had a talk with friends, hence it is good that this café is open till late morning.

The Port is a container themed modern mamak with steel and wooden table seating. It’s a well designed space which add a little more flavour and hipster ambiance to our everyday mamak session. Looking for a nicer place to chillax? This is the place to go. Key point, they have shisha. This would win over a lot of the crowd already I know. With an open and airy space, you can come with your«kawan kawan» and shisha at this place and not worry that it will get all stuffy and smoked. On the food though there are plenty of varieties from nasi ayam, Palestinian food, lamb inspired meals to nachos and everything else yummy. Price wise though expect to fork out a few bucks more than the normal mamak with drinks ranging from RM2-RM5 and meals from RM6 to RM15. Great hipster mamak ambiance, great alternative lepak place at night!
