To commemorate Buddha and celebrate this day, I’m here to celebrate Wesak Day. This is my first time here with my extended family. Although I must admit that I’m not that religious but I just wanted to do something different this year. There are a lot of different prayers that I’m unsure about but it’s never too late to learn or to start. I’m pleasantly surprised of the crowd here this morning and it was a challenge to find a parking spot. Nonetheless, after 15 mins of waiting we found a spot. After all the prayers ritual, we were in a long queue to have the vegetarian meal. You will spot lots of different donation box everywhere of this place as it is run by non profit organisation and is supported by the public donations. You can learn that this religious house also support children with disabilities and people with needs. There is also a child care foundation and if you are willing, you can show your support through your generous donation.
