This place is right by Giant Supermarket and the street junction. There is multiple herbal soup stalls along the street so please be sure to look for the sign that says Meng Kee before taking a seat. There’s a wide selection of herbal soups but only some are available on a day. So please be sure to ask the waiter what’s available on the menu before getting disappointed. The price is fair for what you’re getting. The portion is not big at all, so you can always get more dishes to try. The customer service is okay for a roadside stall but they always get their orders mixed up. In addition, you have to pay when the food arrives, so that’s quite troublesome especially when you’re halfway eating. Anyway this stall is still highly recommended!

I have HUGELOVE for steam soup and I absolutely love Meng Kee Steam Soup at Taman Paramount. Meng Kee is located along the road side, behind the post office. Limited seats are not the only problem you might face if you are there late, because their soups sold off very fast. I was there couple of days ago about 6:30PM, and they only left less than 10 selections. They have more than 30 types of soup on the menu! What make their soups so popular is that’s they are strong and have some unique ones such as pigs brain or Brazilian Mushroom. I had the Ginseng Root and I could tell they were not stingy with the ingredients because there’s a strong ginseng flavour in the soup. I love herbal soup so it was perfect for me. However, if you are not a fan of herbal, then this might not be the one for you. They have some non-herbal options such as ABC, Yellow Cucumber, Salted Vegetables and many more. Meng Kee offers more than soup, but they have meat dishes such as chicken, pork and fish, and vegetables. The pricing of the soup ranging from RM7-RM20.
