Marks & Spencer

Marks & Spencer’s is a store from the UK and has been in Malaysia for a long time now. I absolutely love Marks & Spencer’s and grew up eating their toffee’s! absolute sugar rush and I’ve yet to taste any toffee that can beat the one’s at Mark’s & Spencer’s. The cool thing about this store is that it carries several clothing brands that you don’t usually see in malls around Malaysia. Its usually UK labels and not very popular outside of Mark’s and Spencer’s.
Mark’s & Spencer’s also has a little shop that sells food items like the toffee’s I’ve mentioned above. They even sell tea, biscuits and pretty much anything British. The prices here are a little expensive but its fine cause you can’t find the items here anywhere else.

This place never ceases to impress me. Fashion for men and women, lingerie, food, grocery. gifts, all under one roof?! I first visited my first M&S in the UK and was so amazed with the place, even selling pre-​packed food in their chillers that actually looked and tasted really good! It is nothing in comparison to the pre-​packed food in our regular groceries here which more often than not looks very unappetizing and is way too small a portion to be considered a meal. I remember trying their double chocolate chip cookies and each cookie was almost the size of my palm! I was falling in love with the chewy yet crunch, and nutty cookie that was gigantic in size, making me feel like a little happy girl. I am not too sure if they have the same things here though because I don’t remember seeing them.
Anyway, I checked out the clothes and they were trendy with casual and classy styles, none of those bling blings. They are quire pricey though, a blouse costs up to RM179.90 but the material did feel really comfortable. What really drew my attention was their selection of ankle boots! They had many such fashionable choices and they were really comfortable too! Without a doubt this place is for the tasteful because nothing here spoke tacky. I didn’t purchase a pair for myself though because they were all above RM250. What I did take note was that their shoe sizings are not the same as I am usually a UK5 but the UK4 fitted me instead.
A lovely place to shop if you spend for quality.
