Coffee etc is a café decorated with lots of wooden items. There’s also live performance at night until 12 am. They have beers like Tiger, Heineken, Carlsberg, Strongbow and Smirnoff. Wine is pretty limited here but you can find quite an variety of coffee and smoothies here. I have tried their waffles before and it tasted like how most waffles taste like. They also serve main meals from Asian to Western cuisine. However, I really like to hangout here just to chill with friends.

A nice cozy hangout place, now having light snacks and wine with colleagues, menu looks good range from Asian to western variety. With a live band and good music. Tried the fried calamari and spring roll, fresh and crispy, hot. Only thing wines could have more variety. Most likely will come try other food next round.

Coffee Etc is a café and a pub, where coffee and alcohol meets. My first time was during the FiFa World Cup 2014. They are next to the 7-Eleven at Oasis Square, by the corner opposite of the mamak, Restoran Al-Barqath. I wanted to watch the game while having a good cup of coffee with my fiancé and Coffee Etc was the only place open and available for both. While going through the menu, I find their food; local and western, to be rather pricey. I was actually quite hungry that night but I was tight on cash. I decided to have a flat white(usual routine for new cafes) and it was a little too milky. I did not really like it. At the same time, the place got really crowded of people and the tv screens were blocked by the tables, chairs and people. I felt the crowd was also getting a little bit rowdy, We decided to finish our drinks fast and make a move.

At first glance, Coffee etc looks like your usual café serving coffee and cakes but I was glad to find that their menu offers an extensive range of food from western to local dishes and even fresh pastries as well. Indoor and outdoor seating is available as it’s located on the corner lot and the café has a warm cosy feeling that makes catching up with friends more inviting. I’ve tried their fried rice and claypot chicken rice, both was well executed and came in big portions. Coffee can be a little pricy here as a flat white is priced at RM11 instead of the usual RM9. Alcohol is also served here as the place turns into an entertainment centre with a live acoustic band to serenade the diners. The band plays from mon-weds 9pm to 12am and thurs to sat from 8.30pm to 12.30am. No service charge is implemented here much to my relief.
