I’m always hanging around this area especially during lunch and this is not because I loved the food here in Pavilion’s food court, one of my main reasons is because a colleague of mine really loved the mushroom soup here. This corner shop is located beside the Teppanyaki Lower Ground of Pavilion where the food court is. Depending on where you are coming from, sometimes it can be hard for you to find it, but if you know where the Teppanyaki is, you can find this shop easily. They are famous for the western cuisines and the portions are large! Prices aren’t cheap too and you will be expecting to pay at least RM15 for a set of pasta, etc. Back to my colleague’s favourite mushroom soup — I will usually place an order when I passed by(not at the payment counter) and the chefs will start to prepare it for me. I will then proceed to pay. It is not the wild mushroom soup that you have in mind, it is only mushroom soup made with instant powder, mix it with water and boil it then add some cream sauce to make the soup rich. The chef will actually cook the soup for a good 5 minutes before adding some English parsleys inside for the final chick with some added parmesan cheese. Looking at how they prepared the food, I was pleasant with them charging RM5.90 per serving. It used to be RM4.90… Guess inflation is hitting our doors!
