Another convenient coffee place. Right next to KLCCLRT Station. Surroundings are just fine, especially their lightnings. Not too deem, or too bright either. It’s just right. The menu’s okay, cakes are fine, spaghetti are delicious! Their coffees are fine. Similar features just like any other coffee shops. Special intro to their chocolate. Rich n sweet, with a sugary marshmallow!(my personal favorite) Another thing that I love is the songs they played. Always my kind of music.

My colleagues used to drop by Urbean Café to get some coffee during the lunch hour break and that is how I get to know about this café in the Avenue K. And, today we decided to have our lunch here in Urbean Café since we want to sit down and chit chat relax a bit for Friday lunch. So, we think Urbean could be a good choice. Urbean serves set meals that come with drinks however it is only available after 2.30PM, it is a bit weird as usually restaurant/café provides set lunch during lunch hour. I ordered their Big Break Breakfast. Sitting down and realized that they have limited seats in the café, but it was not really crowded when we visited maybe because most of the customers were there to buy coffee and ciao. My Big Breakfast was quite disappointing actually and it was not worth the price. Simple toasted bread serves with yellow bean, baked tomato, scrambled eggs, 2 tiny chicken sausages and potatoes salad that cost about 19(if not mistaken), which totally not worth it for the portion and the taste for mini sausages were so so. However, my colleagues order pasta and their comment was not bad. Maybe they are better in cooking pasta. lol! Anyway, we had a great lunch today in Urbean :)

Definitely a coffee place I will visit quite often. Urbean is one of the place that offers a very of good coffee, cakes and also a selection of pastry that are gluten free and even vegetarian dishes. I think this is one place to be reckon with. Their coffee is considered to be in good deal, mocha for RM12, long black for RM8.50, cappuccino for RM10, and latte for RM10.(I’ve seen mocha for RM15 in other coffee place so having a coffee RM4 cheaper is like heaven). I do think that their coffee selection are blended pretty well too. For food, they have a few dishes ike huevos rancheros, it is a platter of tortillas, eggs, spicy tomato salsa and black beans which you can wrap around and there goes your taco! It is priced for RM17. Their carrot pancakes is also to die for, they will served it with maple syrup for those who are sweet junkie. I love the ambience of their place, mostly the wall are covered with cute quotes or illustration. It is quite crowded the last time I was there, so hopefully it’s not always crowded or else it will be tricky to get my zen time here.

I just had lunch at this restaurant and it was great. It is located in the lower ground floor of avenue k, close to the LRT entrance. They have an all day breakfast menu that includes a variety of omelettes, eggs sausage and others. I chose the pesto penne and it was really good. The price was very reasonable considering the quality of the food but it took around 20 minutes to get my order so if you’re in a hurry you might want to consider going somewhere else. The service was really nice and friendly and the location although a little small, was quite nice.

Do we not have enough cafes in the city already? Generic cafes are spreading like wildfire(and i dont mean it in a good way). Urbean is another unfortunate example. It’s almost like a formula: raw, exposed bricks walls, wooden furnish, and a couple of half-skilled barista. Woolah! You have another café. But too be fair to Urbean, it attempts to be a little bit more than just than. At least, in terms of the food offering. Apart from coffees and pastries(yawn!) there are also pasta, salads and sandwiches, which are all pretty OKAY. But if you happen to be here, this is a quieter choice.

Another addition to the coffee place near klcc area — yay! One of the usual spots that I’ll hang out with my friends after work due to its central location and transportation convenience. I have lately been told that they actually have corporate price for you if you work nearby, however some friends of mine were being told that they do not entitle for it while having asked the staff there. Anyway, go ahead and ask aye? There’s no harm here, you might get 10% off! Their coffee is alright here, I’d say ordinary. However, they always have lunch or tea time promotion where you can purchase your coffee and get your food or desserts at special price. A slice of cake to go with your afterwork coffee, seriously, why not? However, its stern competitor espresso lab is right beside it! So, it’s up to you to decide, this or that?

Meh. Just meh. If you can find a better word in the thesaurus, then find one. Maybe you can deceive yourself and ally ‘meh’ with ‘below average’ and ‘pretty shitty way to spend your money on bad shit’. I kid, I kid. Urbean, despite being a laughingstock for all English majors as they added an ‘e’ to the word ‘urban’ to liven the name up, is a restaurant for jocks. All they serve are mostly healthy food, which is already a telltale sign that it is not the place you would necessarily want to visit anytime soon. From their ‘healthy’ pasta to their ‘healthy’ breakfast menu, it seems to me that they are trying to promote the word ‘healthy’ rather than just serving uh, normal food. I will recommend anyone to just get your legs away from this restaurant, as their food tastes as good as their grammar, and should be well avoided if you know that is true.

Urbean is a relatively new café in Avenue K and they serve breakfast, pasta’s and sandwiches. The last time I was there i had the big breakfast which I thought was quite yummy and slightly different from your average big breakfast. There were scrambled eggs, potato hash, sausages and beans. It was just mediocre compared to TDH and antipodean. I also had the Iced chocolate which was pretty good. cant remember exactly how much it costs for breakfast but its around RM20 ish. The atmosphere is comfortable and you can sit there for hours just chatting, service is good too. Definitely worth a try!

Located at Avenue K, the café is somewhere where you can hang out after working hours or just spend your weekend here even though the spaces are small for the large crowd. I am too new with coffee shop, I am not coffee lover yet I love to hang out at coffee shop. So this place should be alright for me since they serve tea too! Besides that, this café serves healthy dishes; vegetarian dish, sandwiches and pasta. The services are quite slow yet the waiter is very friendly! I ordered Mediterranean Herb Chicken; pan-fried chicken breast serves with mashed pesto cream potato, cauliflower and some chili. The food presentation is kinda dull for me, I wish they make it to more presentable and give it tasty look. The chicken is well-cooked, while for the mashed potato… it is my least favorite. It taste weird because of the combination of potato and some herbs(which is I don’t really know what kind of herb). I didn’t notice my dish is ‘herbal’ menu(Obviously, I just ordered it hehe). Plus, I am not good in eating something with herbs. So if you love to eat herbal dish, you may give a try on it. Another menu that I’ve tried is Linguine Al Olio; pasta serves with diced tomatoes and parmesan tossed in chili, garlic and olive oil. The taste was great! There is reason why I chose both dish because it URBEAN Daily set menu, so the dish will be serve with drinks either ice or hot lemon tea. The cost is only RM15.90. Come to this café to chill and relax your mind. This is the best places to hang out and run away from crowd(since Avenue K is quiet and peaceful compare to KLCC) Opening hours: Daily, 10am-10pm

Urbean’s arrival in Ave K was a miracle. After getting used to all the healthy yet delicious cafes and restaurants in New York City I was really struggling to find healthy but still delicious options in the KLCC area. Unless you wanted to drop more than RM50 on lunch at a place that would accommodate special orders, low carb or vegetarian options are hard to come by. Even then, there’s not a whole lot. Urbean was my saviour. They have delicious omelettes for breakfast that you can get all day. I recommend the Mexican Omelette. They have delicious open faced sandwiches that go well with a cup of their pumpkin soup. The most unique things to find at Urbean are the superfood salads. They use healthy, nutrition packed and organic ingredients like Kale, Quinoa, and Feta cheese to make salad into a full meal. At RM22++ they aren’t a bad deal for such quality ingredients. It’s not a huge place so it does fill up at lunch time. The staff is friendly and the owner is very nice. You can even call ahead and get food to take away.
