The toes always need attention especially when your using them for transportation on holiday. Yes ladies and gents the feet take a beating when I’m on vacy because I tend to walk much more around the city then I do at home because I have a vehicle. It was a lazy day and I just wanted to chill-ax and do something non-touristy. I didn’t want to run around like a chicken with my head cut off and just wanted to sit back and be pampered a little. So while I was in the mall a few days before I heard there was a NAILPARLOUR on the 4th floor so I figured I’d give them a try and my toes needed a little TLC so I was in! Up, up, up and away I rode the escalator to the top and walked down the walkway to find this place. Pretty simple and to the point. I walk in and asked for a pedicure and they asked if I wanted the SPECIAL? I figured I was PRETTYSPECIAL so WHYNOT celebrate me so I said yes! I didn’t even ask what it included. They led me to the back and asked me to remove my shoes and socks and then they gave me a bag to put everything in so I could take them with me and they gave me some flip flops. Not the cheapy crap kind that you can’t even walk to the car in with out a pebble trying to bore a whole in the bottom of your foot like back home. Real flip flops. The cheap kind but still WAAAYBETTER then the thin lifeless kind. They gave me a basket with the different wheels of nail colors so I could pick what I wanted. They had a VERYBIG selection which was nice! Then they started by filling the foot tub with warm/hot water. It was great and soothing. The jets came on and I was in heaven! I REALLYNEED this more than I thought! They took off my old polish, did my cuticles, cut and filed my toes nails! They scrubbed the bottom of my feet which is ALWAYS ticklish for me and I burst out in laughter. THANKGOODNESS I don’t need much if any scrubbing like some! Then they put on some kind of foot mask and wrapped my feet in plastic and put on some heated foot boots or something. SUPERRELAXING to have that HEAT on my feet. After that they washed my feet of the foot mask and then commenced to giving me a foot massage that I would have sold one of my dogs to get another 30 minutes of that! SOOOOAHHHH-MAZING! I love it! Last but not least they polished my toes and I sat under the fan to dry which I thought was too long but my toe polish needed to dry and I wasn’t in any kind of hurry. GREATEXPERIENCE but a little steep. I’m TOTALLYWORHT the extra few bucks and so are my feet.

The perks of being a girl and how the simplest things can make you smile. I love pampering myself, taking that extra time to make yourself feel good inside and out is a must, id say especially for working gals! So here i am writing this review whilst pampering myself and making my feet look pretty with a big smile on my face. Their packages are very reasonable which is between RM55 to RM145 and each concentrating on your hands and feet needs. From dry feet to to cracked heels, chipped nails you name it and they’ve got the treatment for you. They were also rewarded to have the best nail strengthener by Women’s Weekly in 2014. The manicurists here are pretty friendly and would always try to strike up conversations with you and if you dont feel like talking, well there are magazines for you too. I would suggest that you make an appointment before coming here on weekends, weekdays are alright to walk in.(Ive always managed to get a slot right away on weekdays) So go gals, pamper yourself! You know you deserve it, you’ve worked so hard.

If you’re a fan of manicures and pedicures, you would have probably heard of The Nail Parlour. What really attracts me about this place is the bright pink colour of the shop that makes it stand out from the rest. My experience at the nail parlour wasn’t great as the manicurist got a little rough when cleaning the dead skin of my fingers. At one point, two of my fingers bled because she pulled it too deep. Ouch! However, she was very kind to help re-polish my two fingers when they got smudged after I left the shop. Will I go there again? Hmm. I am a little hesitant. In fact, one thing that concerns me while visiting any nail parlour is the lack of skills by the manicurist in cleaning up my nails. The consequences of that are certainly too painful to bear.
