I love going to Publika and am happy it’s so close to me. When I go and happen to be in need of a pedi, I usually go to The Beauty Room. I stumbled upon it the first time I came to Publika and needed some time to kill and thought, what better way to kill some time than to get a spa pedicure? I was first attracted to it/led there by their ads around the mall. It’s clean, spacious, and I appreciate the area for the pedicures on the raised wooden daises with comfortable pillows and outlets to charge your various electronics. They serve you with tea and a pirouette cookie while you peruse nail polish options and they have current magazines to check out if you’re so inclined. Perhaps the place got wind of the last review and amped their game up. I find their service to be friendly and very welcoming. There were no issues with what the staff were wearing in terms of inappropriateness. And in lieu of Alice in Wonderland, every time I’ve gone there, music videos are played on loop– one loop in the back area with the pedis and a different set of music videos in the front where the manis are done. I haven’t tried getting nail art there before, though. All in all, however, 48RM pedicure with TayTay in the background? Yes please. **Note that I once came in with a previous gel pedi and they charged me 10RM extra to remove it. Cest la vie.

Looking for spa with plugs near you for you to play with your phone while getting pampered! You are going to the right place! Or looking for a place that does the first ever ice gel nail polish in Malaysia? You are too going to the right place! I first came here on a Saturday morning to do pedicure RM48 and situated just upstairs, the beauty room attracted me for it’s interior using pastel colour powder in a jar on the big shelves as well as it’s modern contemporary look. The spacious space made me sit on wooden seat and like other it is always a massage chair but this is so Japanese Style(WOOD) with plugs beside you. My cousin wanted to do nail art so we watched Alice in the Wonderland movie that was playing to keep us entertained and from the start to the end, that is how long the nail art took, my feet was already dry by that time using the machine. Why i rated this three stars is because of the service we get, i know the paint nails good but the service they give us like talking to us, keep us entertained made us not want to come again. It is more like a come and go, bye forever. Also, i strongly suggest they should wear a propoer attire as tone of the staff was wearing a super short shorts that i could even see her under garment. Ew! As we paid, they did not even say bye and when a customer walked in asking to do manicure, the staff said ‘sorry, full’. Dude, if you want more people can’t you said come back in an hour or something?
