This Rojak and Cendol truck has only recently parked outside the Taman Tasik Ampang Hilir and is already super busy. During lumch hour, the few tables that are put out are full and there are just so many cars parked there waiting to get some rojak and cendol. Honestly, I do not like mamak rojak, so i only have the cendol which I think is pretty decent. I’ve tasted better cendol like in Melaka but I guess among the rojak and cendol trucks in the area this is one of the best.

It’s always hot in KL/Selangor. What can provide temporary relief? Cendol! Though this is not my favorite cendol — it does its job. Cendol is RM2 for dine-in and RM2.50 for take away. The rojak(biasa/without chicken or sotong-RM5) here isn’t magnificent either. So what’s good here? The mee rebus(RM5)! I absolutely love the mee rebus here! Combined with the decent enough cendol, this makes for an awesome tea-time snack — okay, meal! Situated under trees that provide glorious shade in the glorious heat and beside a lake, this is a place that’s nice to just chill and enjoy some cendol and mee rebus. Also, this place looks fairly clean and the plates are usually covered with a layer of plastic and cendol is served in a Styrofoam bowl — not very environmentally friendly, whoops!
