One of the most successful stories on Jalan Mesui, Pisco is the go-to place when you’re looking for a frill-free, unfussy night out. Crowds are mainly made up of tourists, expats and local alike. Drinks are abundant and decent otherwise unspectacular. But we really like the easy-going and always chill-out vibe at Pisco, making it a great choice to drink on weeknights. Weekends, on the other hand, can be quite packed. And if you like to dance, the bar upstairs has DJs spinning tunes on certain nights.

Fancy catching up on some after work drinks & dinner? Well Pisco bar kl is a great place for just that. This bar isn’t like your typical changkat joint. The relaxed ambiance, friendly staff & decently priced menu just makes this place ideal. This place is constantly packed with locals & load of expats wanting to get a feel of the KL nightlife. This Peruvian owned bar offers an al fresco dining area of wooden long tables & chairs at the entrance & tall chairs & tables inside. This place adopts a rustic chic design with partially done brick walls & paintings hung all around. If you feel the bar downstairs is abit too toned down for you then you might want to head upstairs where they offer a more party feel, with a stage, dance floor & upbeat tracks. This place plays host to many launches & events as they offer some crazy food. This place is known for its pork & seafood meals as well as some nasty tapas dishes for snacks & lite bites. The cocktails here are pretty interesting. I had the Edelflower martini & the Pisco sour, a truly great blend of ingredients. I love this place!

Nice music and pretty cool place to be at. The ground floor is meant for drinks and bar and the top floor functions as a dance floor. Well if you are the dancey type and looking forward to party, please make sure you are dressed well. They deny entrance to slippers and sometimes, shorts. The guards are pretty strict there, so don’t mess with them. I saw people being dragged out last time. :) The atmosphere is like any other bar, drinks, loud music, people and so on. But this place is filled with foreigners. I have no idea why, but maybe you can visit this place some day and let me know about it. hope you’ll enjoy it!

When I first moved to KL me and my friends used to go to changkat a lot, and Pisco was our favorite place to go. Downstairs at the bar you can enjoy some live music(mostly during the week) and chat with friends since it’s usually not that loud. Upstairs in the club you can dance two really good music. I personally enjoyed hanging out downstairs because although I do like to dance their club is usually very crowded and there is no way you can walk out without smelling like an ashtray. The prices are not too expensive compared to other places in the area so I really recommend going to Pisco for a night out with friends.

If it’s Friday or Saturday night there’s a very high chance you will find this bar crowded with expats! That’s a place where people gather to socialise and meet new people. Downstairs you have amazing cocktails and a choice of inside and outside seating. Upstairs you can book a couch with a few chairs right outside the entrance into the part of the bar, where people go dancing. There’s no cover charge and the place books some really good DJ’s if you’re into electro — house music. There’s no cover charge and during weekdays they often have live music concerts. It’s definitely a bar you want to check out if you’re in Chang Kat! And a good thing about it, is that it’s right in front of a really nice rnb, hiphop club — Lust. Have a memorable night!

Night hotspots come and go but Pisco bar at Jalan Mesui, just a few rows down Changkat Bukit Bintang has built a steady reputation as one of KL’s trendiest bars. Filled with good-looking people comprising expats and trendy locals, Pisco is a two-storey establishment that serves a unique fare of Spanish tapas and Peruvian delights. At night, it turns into a chic hotspot that hosts some of the best DJs in town. Its industrial chic décor has successfully lured a large crowd especially on Friday and Saturday nights. Its established itself as the place to be seen socialising as their friendly staff and relaxed setting makes this place an ideal after-work hangout in the city. Ladies need not worry about sleazy men as the crowd control is well executed. Though I’ve never personally tried any of Pisco’s food, I’ve heard great things about their ceviches. As for drinks, the selection of beers, liqueurs, wine and cocktails are pretty standard but if you’re feeling adventurous, go for their signature Peru’s Pisco Sour cocktail. A flight of stairs to their second storey reveals an indoor space where resident DJs spin electronic mixes for the dance floor crowd. What I also liked was the makeshift bar near the door selling a selection of popular drinks including beer and vodka so this cuts down the queue as you don’t have to fight with the crowd at the usual bar for drinks.

When I first came to this place a year and a half ago I was blown away at the similarities it had to my favorite tapas place around the corner on Changkat, Pinchos. The similarities were striking and I was a bit put off at first. But hey, I love Spanish food and I wanted to give this new place a try and I am glad that I did. While it is very similar to Pinchos it offers a different and welcome vibe. I don’t like the food here quite as much as I do at Pinchos but I don’t like many things more than I like the food at Pinchos. This place does have some great options. Try the Seabass ceviche I get it every time it is delicious. The octopus is also amazing. This place is very popular on Friday and Saturday nights sometimes it’s too packed and filled with douche bags for me. I like it on Thursdays. Most Thursdays they have live music and the vibe is very chill. Way less drunk frat boys and hipsters trying to get laid. The drinks at Pisco bar are delicious but not cheap. I wouldn’t call it overpriced because the place fills up and it’s a great hang. It is however a little more expensive than your run-of-the-mill bar on Changkat.

With the numerous bars and clubs that litter the lanes of Changkat, an uncoordinated night can usually beg the question of ‘where to next?’ Not far off is an elegant Spanish bar/restaurant known as Pisco Bar. Here’s a place you should check out if you’re ever looking to escape the loud noise and lights of modern day disco and embrace the solace of kicking back and relaxing with a consistent food experience, easy listening music and chilled out atmosphere. One of the main draws for me personally is the diversity of events from live bands featuring local indie acts to movie screenings and the sporadic fashion show, Pisco also serves some of its own unique concoctions which are definitely worth the try. Tends to get crowded once the party crowd comes a knocking but that just adds to the occasion.
