I’ve been working around this area for almost 3 years. The only place that I would dare to have my lunch /dinner is Eddie Wok. Their Ginger Beef Rice never disappoints me :)

5 star hawker food. Best of all is the Portuguese grill stall where you can have variety of fresh seafood below rm10! You’ll see a plate of aluminum foiled food on each table!

I’m not big on food courts. Mainly because of all the horror stories I hear throughout the years about food poisoning, food not properly cooked, cleanliness and the discovering of a certain insect camouflaging themselves in dishes. I tend to give it a pass and head over to a proper restaurant to fill my stomach. A friend of mine was raving about the nasi kukus(steamed rice) there and had said that I absolutely had to give it a try. Now this friend of mine is a major foodie and when he says something is good, it would be wise of me to give it a try. The place was surprisingly clean and well kept. The many food stalls were lined against the side of the vicinity and the dining tables and chairs is sprawled along the center of the area in a straight and orderly manner. I headed straight for the nasi kukus stall recommended by my foodie friend and took a look at the dishes. A very impressive spread if I do say so myself but what’s more important was that it tasted good. The chicken was not overly cooked and juicy, the sayur kukus was fresh and crunchy. However, this visit was not enough to relinquish the fear I have towards food courts but it has helped a little. What I can say for sure is that if it looks clean, ill give it a go. One food court at a time.
