Came here a month ago with my ex-colleagues. It was a farewell dinner for me. ;) I made reservations a day ago, so didn’t had any issues with table during dinner time. So we ordered the green curry chicken, tom yum seafood, paku belacan, pandan chicken and the omelette(Forgot which omelette). The service was fast. Not too slow. We only chat for bout 15 minutes? They started serving dishes. The food was really good! They still maintained the quality and also quantity(You can choose sizes accordingly). We had desserts too… I think it were red ruby and mango with sago. They were good too! :) Price Rating: 4⁄5(Not cheap but worthwhile) Service Rating: 4⁄5 Overall Experience: 4⁄5(Will always come back!)

The first time visiting My Elephant Thai Restaurant. It was not planned but not regret since they serve really good food. Love the atmosphere there and the way they arrange for big group of patrons. They have put a notice there saying if you have a group of X or above, you may need to make a booking so that they can arrange seats for you. Well, I forgot how many people, but do give them a call if you need any big gathering. Food portion are huge. Danny and I ordered our own main course. But then, the tom yam soup, they made for 2. It’s our bad not telling we need only portion for 1, and we wasted half bowl of such appealing soup. So, if you are dining there, remember to tell them the portion!

my elephant is a perfect place to have lunch and dinner. If you are looking for a decent place to have thai food, then my elephant is perfect for you. This place is more of a casual thai restaurant and i have to give them credit for managing it really professionally. I came here for dinner with a friend of mine and it was pretty crowded. We came around 8pm plus and we managed to get a seat. There were plenty of seats here in this restaurant and it was 80% full, so we could tell that this restaurant is pretty popular. We ordered eggplant with minced chicken, green curry with beef and a bbq chicken cooked in lemongrass and the dishes were delicious. This thai restaurant one of my go-to restaurants if i’m ever craving for thai food. The service here is average and the waiters and waitresses here are friendly. We also ordered a red ruby dessert which is a very known thai dessert that has water chestnut and jackfruit with coconut milk. We only tried this dessert because we didn’t have any more room in our stomach for more. It wasn’t too bad and it was sweet. Prices here are pretty reasonable, as the portions for the ala-carte dishes can be shared by at least 3 people. Do take note that this restaurant takes their last orders at 9:30pm and they usually flip their open sign to close around this time.

My Elephant is my favourite Thai Restaurant in the town! Why? Because it serves very nice Thai food! It was recommended by quite a number of friends of mine, so I decided to give it a try.(p/s: I love Thai Tomyam! I think it’s the best Thai food ever!) After the first visit, I have become their loyal customer. I love their food! My usual order dishes are Tom Som, Gai Tod Gratiam Prik Thai and paku. I did not try their signature Tom Yam soup as it’s written«super spicy» in the menu. Although i love spicy, but my stomach can’t stand for food that are too spicy. Therefore, I choose the Tom Som, a mild one and not so spicy one instead. It is a clear galangal, lemongrass and lime soup with aromatic Thai herbs. It tastes heavenly! I love the Gai Tod Gratiam Prik Thai as well, it is a special deep-fried chicken strips with lemongrass. Thumbs up! Highly recommended! Environment: 3⁄5 Service: 4⁄5 Food: 5⁄5.

Subtly rich with the strong fragrance of Thai spices, the food in My Elephant is one of my favourite Thai restaurant to go for. The dimly lit space, cooling and cozy restaurant offers a great escape from the scorching sun during the afternoon, and it’s exactly why I love to visit the place during my lunch hours. Their signature dishes like green curry rice and pad thai comes with a generous amount of ingredients and suits the Malaysian taste bud perfectly. Not too strong, not too spicy, just right and down right delicious. You got to try their fried chicken and also green curry, they are my love! Another sweet and thoughtful thing is the set usually comes with a slice of fruit for you to end the meal. That’s a plus point because generally restaurant in Malaysia doesn’t serve fruits with main meals. Reasonably priced, great ambiance and food, I strongly recommend this place for Thai food. They have two outlets, one in PJ Seksyen 15 and one in Jalan Sri Hartmas, so you can hop over to whichever is convenient.

My Elephant Thai is one of those Thai restaurants that is a hit or miss for its Thai food, and for me, of course, it is a hit. Its signature dish is its green curry rice, and it tastes heavenly. Granted that it is not as fragrant as its other counterpart the tom yam, its taste is mildly spicy, and the herbs that embodied the curry is pretty much what you want in a milk-centric curry. As far as we can see about the ambience, it is small and is pretty minimalist for a Thai restaurant, so you might find it pretty comfortable to bring yourself to dine in. My Elephant Thai is unique for its taste and its exterior, and has done it perfectly so. I am already a bandwagon of this place, so yeah, count me out of any more Thai restaurants for now.

Came here for dinner with some friends and found it to have quite limited tables but there wasn’t many people there that night. Their tom som seafood soup is their specialty and it was nice and spicy, sourish as well. The Rice was something a little different as they mixed brown rice and jasmine white rice so you get the look of brown rice but it is not as difficult to eat as pure brown rice. Besides that, their green curry chicken taste heavily of santan, not quite my favorite. They did give chicken fillet so there was a lot of meat in it. Their kangkung belacan was alright but nothing too special. We wanted to order some dessert after that but we we’re already full. However my friend did say that their red ruby and mango sticky rice is good although the portion is small.

The very famous myElephant restaurant that started opened their first outlet at Petaling Jaya, Section 17 is finally here in Sri Hartamas! Been here a couple of times and the food is good but I prefer the one at Section 17 still over this outlet. When it comes to myElephant, I just love their roast duck curry and their Tom Ka Tom Yum. They’re both my favourite dish here. They serve up great lunch sets as well but I have yet to try them as I usually head over for dinner only. I think what makes this place so good is the consistency of their food. It’s always delicious! This my elephant franchise isn’t as good as the one in happy mansion. I expected the same quality of food being served but it isn’t too great. Everything is the same though. The menu and such. It also isn’t as busy as the one in PJ. Service was a little slow when it comes to the food being served but it is convenient because I live around the area. There are also several shops that you can pop by while you’re on that row of shops as well such as podgy and the banker and la juiceria. The set lunches are pretty decent with a pretty reasonable price.

Not the typical Thai Restaurant you see around town. This place is an unexpected one and quite out of the ordinary for a Thai restaurant to be parked at. Even when you look from outside, it doesn’t look like what it is. They also have branches in Aman Suria, USJ9, Section 17 and Ampang. I’ve only tried eating at My Elephant(Hartamas Branch) once and I am in love with the obvious, Seafood Tom Yum. The Basil minced beef with rice wasn’t too bad either? I actually enjoyed it. I expected more out of the mango salad but perhaps the hands that mix it didn’t fit the taste on my tongue or maybe that day the mango’s were just… weird. I’ve tasted better ones. My Elephant offers Thai lunch sets, which explains very much because when I was there(during lunch hour) most of the customers that were there were in office attires, so that’s when it is busiest! The interior is pretty cozy because it is very small. I’d definitely make another round at this place and try the rest of the food on the menu.
