Public transportation in Kuala Lumpur is surely at the burgeon as the new train line is in progress as well. Apart from KL Sentral station, masjid jamek station would be one of the bigger interchange station. Linking up the ampang line and kelana jaya line LRTs, this is where you switch LRT lines. Being constantly renovated these few years, now passengers do not have to go out of the station for interchange as well, which I think is a very considerate improvisation especially if it’s a rainy day! The famous Jamek Mosque is right beside the station too, as the station is named after it. If you’re visiting the mosque, you’d find this area with a lot of local hawker stalls too. If you’re hunting for a coffee place, LOKL might be a place that you’d want to check out too, which is pretty near to the station too.

Masjid Jamek LRT Station is never a station I will stop by when I only need to access the Kelana Jaya line. I remember the first time I stepped down this station was when I wanted to go to Bukit Jalil station, the temporary bus station to go Malacca. I was lucky that my friends brought me there, else, I will get lost for sure. This station is huge because there is transit between Kelana Jaya line, Ampang line and Sri Petaling line. I am still blur now because it was few months ago when I last taking public transport at Masjid Jamek LRT Station. Well, you won’t get lost easily, as long as you follow the big group, and read the signboard. In addition, they have renovated this station few years ago, you don’t need to cross the road in order to go to another station. I you take lift, it is even easier to find the station. Basically, Masjid Jamek LRT Station is always busy regardless the day and date. In weekdays, people take LRT to work, you will see a lot of people come in and out from this station. In weekends, you most probably see people from Kelana Jaya line go into Sri Petaling line because they are heading to TBS taking bus to back hometown.
