Stumbled upon this bakery & florist whilst in the Mont Kiara area and decided to step in to give it a try! The smell of freshly baked bread was enough to make me stay, but what really attracted me to this place was how inviting and warm it looked on the inside, with a row of comfy looking chairs and a good selection of cakes on display near the counter. What’s interesting is that this place doesn’t just sell breads and cakes, but also flowers! Yes they provide flower arrangement services and even custom wedding cakes for special events. Other than cakes and breads, they also offer a menu of savoury meals like pasta and chicken! Their selection of sweets is amazing, ranging from cakes to muffins to cupcakes. I had a Red Velvet cupcake which was very moist on the inside and tasty with a creamy top — definitely tasted like it was freshly made!

We stumbled upon this little spot after shopping at the grocery store and decided to pop by and see what they have. This bakery houses desserts and cakes as well as fresh bread and the aroma was… like how every bakery should smell like, warm and welcoming. They have a display of cupcakes that is worth trying if that’s your thing. But we were hankering for something breakfast-ish and it was just great that Little Collins has an all day breakfast menu of french toasts, omelettes and hot sandwiches, We tried the Miami Toast, egg toast with turkey bacon, baked beans and salad. Well, there must be some greens on this plate of protein eh?=) It’s not too bad and affordable too! For a sweet finish, we had lamingtons — it’s hard to find a place that serves this australian treat, but they do it well with the chocolate coating and just the right touch of coconut shavings. For something different to take home, they have cake pops! Basically cake on a stick, how interesting!

I first knew this shop when they followed in in Instagram and i fell in love ever since. They make handmade custom cakes for events and clients. i am in love with the 3D cakes they do with different types of themes such as Frozen, Big Hero 6, Star Wars, Batman and even spongebob. The simple yet colourful well made cake with different shapes and sizes really impressed me on how much time and effort they have done. Not only they do cakes but also cake pops, cupcakes and normal cakes. Other than yummy cakes and yummy dessert, their little café is like a breakfast club and provide us proper breakfast such as french toast, apple crumble pie, beef breakfast, omellete, roast chicken leg all for reasonable price. You can also get your coffee below Rm10. This café gives out 20% for cakes if we buy a drink and only for tea time which is between 3pm — 6.30pm.I love their homemade biscuits. They are also open for catering services for mini parties or events or functions. Definitely a morning/tea time place to come and chill.

Another blazing hot day in Malaysia, and there I was travelling to another café with my friend. We decided to drop by Solaris, as there are many other cafes that we wanted to try. Walking down the street, we came across a slightly interesting menu splattered all across the chalkboard at Little Collins Café. We decided to give it a try, as we’re both drenched in sweat from walking.
Sadly, the waiter mentioned only 4 dishes were available. I could see we were both disappointed but since we’re there, why not give it a try. I ordered the creamy turkey spaghetti and my friend ordered the chicken spaghetti Bolognese. When both our dishes arrived, honestly, it wasn’t as good as we thought it would be. I could only see a few strips of turkey ham and I find the sauce a little tasteless. On top of that, the mushrooms felt a little moldy. I would rate the dish about 5⁄10.
Initially, I wanted to try the cheddar chicken but it was unavailable. I’m not really sure, I would return to the place for their main course meal but I would definitely return to try out their desserts!

Little Collins is a little café situated in Solaris, and it is perhaps a little too… Stingy with its food. I tried their chicken spaghetti bolognese and it tasted like washed up noodles being drenched with canned sauce. It was bland and tasteless, and extremely little in portion. I am terribly disappointed in this small little café, and even more so by its choice of food; apparently, all chicken were sold out the day I was eating there. All in all, a decent place to go for if you are up for cakes and coffee, while enjoying the air conditioning. Otherwise, leave the mains aside and run away from this place as fast as possible.
