I was planning to do some shopping in NSK Happy Garden and wanted to find somewhere to have dinner beforehand. I spotted this joint facing the main road before turning into NSK and the hubby and I thought we’d give it a try. The café has a very welcoming atmosphere with a few sets of outdoor seating. There is also a sofa set inside if you want to chill in a large group. They served western as well as local Malaysian favourites. My hubby’s curry noodles didn’t turn out overly impressive but it was so so. Not too bad, but could do with more flavour. I ordered a grilled fish that came with a very interesting sauce that was neither eastern nor western, but a fusion of both. I maybe felt it was too little of either to work. However, I did love the sides of alfalfa and potato gratin that came with the fish. The potato gratin is probably one of the best things I’ve tasted so far from this place. The quiet ambiance is something I loved about this place too. Their prices I thought were pretty reasonable for the this type of establishment.
