Taiwanese snack. Similar to Shihlin Taiwan. There are only a few branches in Malaysia itself.(E.g Lot 10 Hutong, Subang SS15, Setia Walk Puchong, Queensbay Mall, KB Mall). Difference is the chicken chop! Meow and I had some time to kill the other day(Our friend’s proposal night). So, instead of being a good helper, we just went around looking for snacks(Like some wild cats). So, with my Worthy Book vouchers, we ended at Hot-Star Large Fried Chicken stall at Lot 10 Hutong. It’s placed in the most odd corner. It’s next to the Isetan Deparmental Store or rather right next to the escalator which leads to the Gelatomio and Starbucks at Lot 10. If you don’t know, Meow is a big fan of unhealthy food(KFC, McDs, Domino’s) which is not my thing since I have been cutting down on these stuff. But then again, since we had vouchers, why not? =P The menu looks quite basic and normal. They offer sets for people who needs energy to last throughout the day. The sets is inclusive of rice and drink. The drink — you can choose between herbal drink or tea. They have several stages of spicy so you can choose according to your own liking. There are fries included too! You can choose between french fries or plum sweet potato fries. We went with a combo(A fried chicken, fries and a drink). Instead of the usual french fries, we chose the plum sweet potato fries, which turned out super good! Not too sweet not too oily. The chicken chop was quite large(30cm large!) It’s crispy and not too dry. Good place for those who are always in a rush or for quick bite! Overall experience: 3.5÷5 Price Rating: 4⁄5 Will go there again if i’m just looking for a quick bite ;)
