Got the set menu here: despite the fact that i now eat like an anorexic ballerina, I left with the deep desire for a second meal. The portions are a joke. They give cheap flavored drinks to fill you up. Barely any meat, you can literally count with your hand on the pieces of beef given. Only 3 side dishes. This place is horrible. Worst Korean establishment I’ve ever been to. I find it ironic that Korean restaurants in the Bay Area are so much better while this place is so close to Korea and still manage to suck ass. Order 2 entrees or lots of appetizers or go home hungry. I would avoid this place all together.

I absolutely love Dubu– Dubu, I mean who knew that Korean cuisines would be this awesome! I just love this place! I have a blast every time I go there, what’s more hilarious is the staff’s english which is almost inexistent. The food is so good though! just close your eyes and go for it! jump on the first nice dish you see! don’t try to choose the dish, let it choose you! you’ll have way more fund with that! and for me not to forget to recommend you the most amazing juice ever out there! Aloe Vera juice! never tried it! but I can’t wait to make it my habit to have it as often as I can!

Über excited that they opened Dubu Dubu in NuSentral since its only one train stop away from office. That mall gives us more choices for our lunches. They are on Level 4, the unofficial food level, sharing the same row as Nandos & Mcdonalds. My friends are big fan of their ramen while i opted for the Honey Bulgogi Chicken but you have the choice of Beef. I ordered from the set meal which only cost me RM13.80 but i added Barley Tea drink for RM2 if you opted for Peach Tea — the additional cost would be RM3.90. I quite like my Honey Bulgogi but was quite put off that it was almost cold when it was served. My friend’s Ramen order was spicy but NOT overly spicy. Service here is pretty quick but the staff could do with a bit more friendliness. Interior is airy and bright with plenty of seatings.

I’ve visited the outlets of this restaurant in many places, like Midvalley and NuSentral Mall. I like the food because the plates are quite big and the price is acceptable. They have a good variety of dishes with Noodles and Rice mixed with Chicken and Beef or Vegetables. The service is a little low because they bring food very late and they make mistakes in what you order and what you receive. But overall, I recommend the place because the food is delicious.

Korean places are expanding more and more in Malaysia, and if you are a big fan of Korean Food, you might be a little bit disappointed coming here. It is pretty basic most of the food here. The Ramyeon was pretty good even though you might taste the same good ramyeon in most of other places since its just pretty much instant noodle. It cost RM13.81++ before service and tax. But the side dish like kimchi, long beans and one more thing which I’m not sure about, are not really satisfying. The bulgogi rice was ok as well, there’s nothing really special about it, probably the iced peach tea could be consider good, but then again if I would have a nice Iced peach tea, I don’t have to specifically go to Korean restaurant to have this, right? :) The service was OK as well, so overall, definitely don’t expect to receive or experience any Korean authentic culture coming here since it is very modernised already. If you are looking for something quick, on the go and bored of any options nearby, you can always give this a go without a big expectations.

As compared to other restaurants in Nu Sentral, they have a lesser crowd. But do not be fooled by the number of people in here, the food is amazing. I have been to other Dubu Dubu branches as well and their food quality is up to standard. If you are with a large group, you have a high chance of sitting on a same table instead of splitting yourselves into a couple of smaller groups. One thing to comment about will be the ventilation here. I remember sweating like crazy while eating. It was realllyyyy hot in there. If possible, you might want to request to sit closer to the entrance as there will be more air coming in from the shopping mall itself. Other than that, serving speed is fast, waiters are helpful and food is good as mentioned earlier. They will also play those k-pop music on their TV screen to keep the patrons entertained. Well it’s a Korean restaurant, so hence these music videos :)

I came across this place when I was heading to the mall for an event and it smelled delicious! Not a total Korean food goer but I’m normally super cool with dishes from Japan and Korea. There’s something about the simplicity of their food. Since I love Bento Boxes(because it is filled with nice portions of your choice of amazingness), this place caught my attention. They have a gazillion different set options to please your appetite! Chicken, fish, sweet corn… okay that’s just basic. You need to go there yourself and experience it!

Dubu-Dubu is my favourite place when it comes to Korean food! The taste is very close to Korea, make me feel like I am in Korea!, The ambience is so K-Pop, you can see and hear k-pop music video like the whole day. A lot of set menu to choose, just by seeing the menu photo make my mouth watering! Highly recommended for K-pop!

I never tried Korean food before Dubu Dubu. The restaurant is at the 3 level in NU Setral and actually stopped by and had lunch with my boyfriend because we couldn’t find any of the restaurant without a huge lineup. To my surprise it was actually really really good. They even have a lunch deal where you can share meals and their prices are really good. I love their lemon juice, it was amazing, very refreshing, really well made. The only concern is that their portions were a lot smaller than what the pictures depict but the food as tasty and well made. The price range is between RM10 and RM20 so do give them a try.

You will notice from the reviews here that it can be pretty mixed. This is because you have to know what to order in order to get the best experience. For me, a must have is their Honey Garlic bulgogi, which you can choose either chicken or beef. They only offer three side dishes but this is somehow ok with me since their main dishes are well made and satisfying. Another set of foods to try is their pancakes(Pa jeon) and Cheese Teokpokki(Rice cakes). The latter comes piping hot baked in a dish and covered in mozarella.

Since I lived in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, it is quite hard for me to fulfil my desire of claiming variation of foods rather than normal foods in ‘mamak’ or ‘warung’. Seremban still have a long way to go in order to have everything such as Kuala Lumpur. One day, my friend and I craving for the Korean food and most of it available at the Dubu Dubu. Because we are in Seremban and it does not have any Korean restaurant franchise that we known, finally we made a decision to go to KL and the nearest Dubu Dubu would be at the NU Sentral. Thank God for that or else we might need to travel further just to eat Korean food. I ended my work that Saturday at noon and we met at the KTM and depart to KL Sentral. Once we in the Dubu Dubu NU Sentral, we placed our order and not the usual amount because we both(two person) has ordered a set meal for four person! Ended of our meal, about 6pm onwards, we’re not delay anything and full and we just head back to Seremban. Without going any other places. Me myself couldn’t believed it that we go to KL by train just to eat Korean meal and then directly back home by train again.
