My fiancé and I went to this restaurant while traveling through Southeast Asia. What an amazing find! Fantastic wines, delicious food, and wonderful atmosphere(we sat outside). Highly recommend to anyone looking for an upscale restaurant in KL.

It’s actually a 5-star for their churros as I have not tried any actually good ones after I’m back from the U.K. but their cocktail in a jar here isn’t really my kind of cocktail, so I think it’s fair for it to be kept as 4-star for now. Back to their churros, I liked the caramel sauce a lot. Also, their churros isn’t too thick, so you don’t have to worry about getting a very goovy center. Apart from the caramel sauce, they served it with strawberry jam too, and to my liking the strawberry jam didn’t taste too artificial. Their cocktail jar no.1 is more on the bitter side with lemongrass and mint leaves — it’s not the very smooth type and you should be able to taste a generous amount of vodka in it. As it’s served in a jar, it’s very good for sharing and a jar can easily serve up to 6 glasses. Food wise, they do have a lot of appetizers that are really good for sharing too. Their truffle mushroom arancini is definitely something that you should try if you are a fan of mushroom and truffle. Covered with a lot of parmesan and cream, the overall taste goes really well with the mushroom. Only thing would be that I wished that the taste of truffle was stronger. Pork sliders were also another interesting thing that they serve here. As it’s just a slider, the portion is good for you to have something to nibble with your drinks. The pork belly they use is A-OK, but the bun was fresh and buttery. I wouldn’t say that it was the highlight of the night, so you could ask the waiter to suggest something else if you are looking to try something really special. Overall, cozy ambience but the price isn’t exactly on the low side. Good place to head to if you are looking for a great night out, and that you’re ready to splurge after a long day!

This is the best restaurant I’ve been to in recent times. It has the feel and flavours of an authentic modern Aussie place. Unlike all the pretenders we’ve seen in recent times. Robert the manager is very friendly and chatty so it feels like you’re almost in someone’s home. Food is excellent and the style of sharing plates allows diners to sample a big variety of what the kitchen has to offer. This is definitely a great place for groups but you won’t be disappointed even if you walked in alone.

I was looking for a good fine dining place around the city and the heart of Kuala Lumpur and i passed by this place that the interior and the crowd somewhat made my car stop and looked even closer. Somehow the lightnings and the light brown wood furniture convinced me to dine inside and it was an amazing experience. Owned by Australians, as i saw the menu, i have never heard such food in my life before. I felt like i was one of the tasters for Master Chef Restaurant, eating such delicate food. I was so intrigued by the amazing work art they have on the wall and also the food on the menu made me drool! So i tried the Home made ravioli with pumpkin and sage, pork chop and manila clams and you know first thing in my mind is «Shit, i need to get used to Australian taste» but the taste of the food has a mixture of Asian taste such as the use of slow braised, the use of soy sauce, ginger, tropical flavors adding mango to the taste of the food. Not to mention that the best sellling dessert here, CHURROS! for Rm19 you can get an amazing fat Churros! The 70 seats Austalian fine dining also provides alcohol and drinks and 1 litre of their in-house cocktail(a concoction of lemongrass, ginger, brandy and vodka) for RM60 is so worth my money to try! I love love love love love love love this place! Sadly, i have no pictures because my phone died that time. Outdoor Seating — Yes

This newcomer in city centre area is definitely one of the most exciting openings this year. With a modern Australian theme and an inviting layout, we instantly love this place when we walk in. Food menu is small but interesting. Standouts include baby pork ribs(must try!) and Moroccan-spiced cauliflower. For dessert, the churros with yuzu sauce is simply outstanding. Cocktails and wines are decent too. Best of all, service is top-notch. If only the portions are bigger, Drift is easily our favorite new restaurant.
