Afterwerk pulls together food, live music and alcohol, making it a good place for a casual evening out. The restaurant also hosts various performances, from local and international music acts to comedy nights. So far, I haven’t been disappointed by the talents on display here. For a place that is more widely known as a haunt for the vices this joint undoubtedly sets itself apart. While most food is German-inspired, a safe bet would be to go fortheir quesadillas — they’re delightfully cheesy but make a good, balanced meal. Also worth trying is their one-meter pizza — needless to say this is best for those in groups. Prices range from RM10 – 50, and as the kitchen closes at midnight, order early to avoid disappointment. They accept payment via credit card but only with a minimum spend of RM50.
