This place is probably the equivalent of Ipoh’s famous«Tai Shu Keok»(Under the Big Tree) food stalls. This place is home to various Klang renowned street foods like Chee Cheong Fun, Assam Laksa, Popiah, pisang goreng and Leng Chee Kang. This place is pretty well known to all the neighboring residents as this place has a wide variety of food to choose from. This place only operates during lunch hours and it consists of many street food stall vendors. The hygiene here is pretty«street-like», it may not be suitable to those who are kind of «OCD» in terms of cleanliness. My favourite foods here has got to be their Leng Chee Kang, Fried Prawn Cracker/Cake, Coconut water, and Chee Cheong Fun. This is basically the go-to place when it comes to Klang street food cuisine, do try this place out if you’re near by.

This place used to be a place where a group of hawkers operates and sell local street food under big shady trees. These hawkers have been operating there for many years until one day, the town council of Klang decided to builds a settlement with proper roofing, equipped with water supply for the hawkers to operate in with a small amount of rental fee. This way, the hawkers will be able to serve under a better, cleaner environment and the consumer can enjoy their food in a nicer, cooler environment too instead of under the hot scorching sun. In Medan Selera Taman Eng Ann, you may find many delicious local street foods. From beverages, desserts, finger food to solid food. They have stalls that sells fried ‘nian kao’, banana fritters, fried sweet potatoes, asam laksa, chu cheong fun, indian rojak, yam cake, bubur chacha, leng chi kang, popiah, curry noodles, noodle soup, coconut water and many more. Most people are there because of the wide selection of food and convenience, where at one place, you can have so many different types of food and doesn’t have to drive around to get them all. Besides the wide selection of foods and convenience, the foods there are fairly delicious too! I myself am always there for the desserts like ‘nian kao’, popiah, leng chi kang or bubur chacha and sometimes coconut water while my sister loves their asam laksa.
