Most of the locals love to come here for a cup of coffee, my mom is one of the fan here. A cup of hot coffee with a bowl of prawn noodles or cha kuey teow is always her favorite breakfast. While for me, I don’t take coffee at all. Hence, I will order«milo kosong kaw» which means only extra milo cocoas powder with hot water. And my must order breakfast here is their kaya and butter toast with half boiled eggs. I love the crunchiness of the toast with the aroma of the kaya and butter that melt inside. If you want to go extra miles, dip it with the half boiled eggs which is my typical habit of having this kind of breakfast. Love it! But I don’t really like the place here because is always crowded, and we always need to share table with others. The thing that I dislike the most is people standing and waiting beside me. As a result, I need to get hurry to finish my breakfast so I can leave the table for them.

Most of the Klang people must has been to this place especially coffee lover. They cook their own coffee beans, brew and make coffee to customer. If you would like to make the coffee at home your own, no worry, they do sell coffee beans in big or small packaging. If you do not know hot to brew the coffee, no worry too. Recently, they do sell the coffee in individual packaging. So you just have to take a pack, add hot water and add sugar according to your sweet level. Besides, they do famous with the half boil eggs(RM1.25 for 1 pc *telur kampung) and bread(RM1.05 for 1 set *roti bakar keping). You can enjoy other foods here as this place is like hawker stalls. There are numbers of stalls. Fried kuey teow, yong tao fu, nasi lemak, mi hun kee can be find here. Don’t worry about the variety of choice. # Closed on every Sunday.

Many people known Ipoh for their signature White Coffee served at their friendly neighbourhood«kopitiams». If Klang were known for famous local«Kopi-O» or «Kopi-Peng», this is definitely the preferred«kopitiam» in Klang town. This coffee shop has been in operation for a long time, they are famous for their«home brewed» coffee powder and thus their chinese«Kopi-Peng». During breakfast hours, this coffee shop is usually filled with locals having their usual breakfast and sipping on their«Kopi-O»(How relaxing!). Other than that, their«roti bakar» and steamed breads are great too especially served together with a hot cup of coffee! On lazy Saturday mornings, I would drop by order steamed breads and coffee as take away so that I can enjoy it at the comfort of my own home. This is definitely a coffee shop to visit if you wanted to experience the Klang lifestyle.

My parents used to operate their driving school beside this traditional styled coffee shop(kopitiam). I practically grew up consuming their food. Unlike my parents, my favourite thing from this coffee shop is not their coffee. My favourite was their steamed breads with kaya and butter spread. I used to love their milo too but now I find them a little too sweet for my taste and opted for their traditional Chinese styled iced coffee instead. As an adult, I don’t get to have the luxury of having their steamed breads almost every day like back then anymore. Now, I only get to have them on Saturday when I am not working because they’re closed on Sunday. Their steamed breads is still as yummy as ever. Other than steamed breads, the coffee shop also have stalls that sells local foods like wonton noodles, noodle soup, fried kuey teow, yong tau fu, popiah, and so on. If you’re lucky, sometimes an aunty will be just outside the coffee shop selling Rojak and fruits.
