I’ve been to Barada a few times for some ‘yum cha’(drink tea), in the the literally sense. Someone would order their mint tea and we would share it among four people. The mint tea is served in a teapot and in four small cups, and with it a small pot of sugar. The mint tea is strong, but would not taste like much until you add a little bit of sugar, it is then when the flavour comes out well. As most Arabian places do, they sell iced sisha for a reasonably cheap price below RM20. I had the kickapoo flavoured one, but to me, it wasn’t that strong, and I couldn’t smell it as much, but I could smell the much sweeter flavours choking me from the table across. I have no idea what flavour it was, but it smelt really sweet. At night, the place can be rather cooling because it’s on a higher land — something like on a hill. Still, I’ll need a shower whenever I got back from Barada because of all the smoke.

This place is a restaurant that serves arabic cuisines but most of the people possibly know this place because of it’s Shisha services. I’m not a smoker anymore and not willing to try even the smoothest one like shisha but the foods is kinda irresistable. The Mandy Lamb is truly delicious. Both look and the taste were exquisite. But the services is bad though. The staff were working on slow pace even during the peak hours. Plus, some of the staff can’t even understand Malay.
